@WJLKWESTKDASHIAN Who would be right?

-5 CR
-3 M
-2 or -1 W

Do I have a shot at Texas cutoff (218)?

CR: 69-71
M: 73-76
W:73-78

I guess you will get about 220, which will qualify. Good luck and hope for the best!

<a href=“Understanding PSAT/NMSQT Scores - SAT Suite”>https://www.collegeboard.org/pdf/psat/understanding-psat-nmsqt-scores-guide.pdf This is last year’s curve. Do you think ours will be better or worse? Although I did take the test last year, I cannot accurately compare the level of difficulty since I didn’t really study for it then.

Didn’t link, sorry. @i2400ezpz and everybody else who says that “loyalty” was not explicitly mentioned, and therefore a completely unrelated term to the sentence had to be the correct fill-in.

wb that question about qualification/hypothesis? i put hypothesis bc the guy was technically making a hypothesis bout the girl, wasn’t sure if it was talking about the guy or the author tho

@Agupta thanks! I know it’s gonna be close so I’m just hoping for the best

Hey! To all people who took Form W:

-8 CR
-0 M
-3 W

Considering the difficulty of our form, what would an approximate score be? Thanks!

Qualification can also mean limitation, not only something that raises value.

@agupte so in ur opinion is hypothesis a valid answer or is it like qualification

@HarvardBaller
67-Cr
80-M
75-W

ya that’s why i put hypothesis. because he made a hypothesis about the girl

so was the question asking from the guy’s persepctive or the author’s perspective? bc if it was guy it would be hypothesis but apparently qualification is the right answer?..

@Spurs2014 That’s interesting: with a 35 raw score on Writing, do you really think I will only miss 5 points out of 80? and for you, I think you definitely hit Texas’s cutoff. you probably got 220 or higher

@HarvardBaller for your writing I was going off as if it was a 36 raw score
, so with a 35 you’ll probavly get around a 73

BTW what state are you from?

Very different question. My friend’s son was kicked out of the PSAT for talking on a cell phone during the 1st break. Does anyone know if he can appeal?

yo guys. what was the answer to the surface area question in the math section?

Oct 15th PSAT: What was the answer for the question about b^2 + k^2? I forgot the exact variables and expression, but I remember it having to do with squares, b, and k. Pretty sure it was #18, and I think I put 2, but I just guessed and it’s probably not right.

yo guys. what was the answer to the surface area question in the math section?

58 units squared @bobkop
