If you go to page 5, you can predict your score based on last year’s data. Keep in mind those “tails” tend to show the most fluctuation from year to year. For example, two years back, 1 wrong in writing was 76, instead of 77/78. Also notice the norms are different from Wednesday to Saturday. Regardless, it’s a nice estimate, and using that estimate, I think @averagewhiteguy should be just fine. @mango920452 might be a little closer with the worst case numbers, but definitely in the running with the higher numbers.

We got scores last year on December 12th, for what that’s worth, and that was one of the earlier schools. I know scary tales though of schools that waited until after the holidays to hand out the reports.

Thanks for your responses everyone. Does anybody else remember any of the sentence completion questions. I do recall finding some of those vocab words quite unfamiliar. I know now, thanks to @mango920452, that Miasma was not the correct answer for one of the sentence completion questions. This has gotten me a bit concerned, and I would like to know if anyone else remembers the answers to any other sentence completions so I can formulate a reasonable expectation for my score. Thanks!

Also, does anyone have any curve predictions. I am hoping for a generous CR curve since the questions were much more ambiguous than usual. Here are my predictions…

@averagewhiteguy panacea (one of the options for this was miasma, but it was incorrect), altruistic, minutae, those were the three difficult ones.

Ive been obsessing about this test since I took it. Cant wait till scores are released.

Same man! lol. These next few weeks need to go by quickly. I believe I put both altruistic and minutiae. I remember eliminating to panacea and miasma and picking miasma (bad luck). Hopefully all of the passage comprehension went well for us. What state are you in @mango920452

@Mango920452, I am from PA. I do remember soporific as one of the choices and I think I put it but I am not quite sure. I think if your predictions are accurate, you should be good for Ohio. That -4 in writing could be the clincher, but since there was 4 e’s in a row for the improving sentences section, I am hoping for a lenient writing curve as well. Otherwise, your CR and Math look excellent!

@averagewhiteguy Judging by the stats you posted earlier, you should be well qualified for PA. I just hope our actual scores stick true to our estimates. It sucks how some states like Wyoming have such a low requirement while others are so high. Anyways, good luck with your scores!

Yes @Mango920452! I totally agree. It makes sense though because there are like 2 people in Wyoming and like 2 million people in the metropolitan Philly region. This makes qualifying for NM much harder. I hope our scores stay true to our predictions. Last year, I scored a 196 (60 CR lol, 72 M, 64 W). After some summer studying, I hope making the jump to 217 is possible. I guess we will see. Good luck with your scores as well!

@andyis and @livelaugh7, just irritate your guidance counselors until they give you the results. Your school should receive the paper copies around December 8-10.
