***OFFICIAL Psychology Thread 2013-2014***

Because our class took like 3 past exams.

What do you guys think an 85 or so on MC and just like 50% on FRQs would be?

@purpleperson88‌ Borderline between 4 and 5.

@purpleperson88 4

Man, this sucks, I’m always borderline for things. Oh well, I think I’ll be happy with either a 4 or 5. :)

I don’t think that police car question was classical conditioning though, the cars stopping were not involuntary behavior…

I am hoping to just simply pass, the majority of my projected colleges just want at least a 3. However one of my top choices is University of California, Davis, and they require a 5. ;_; Same with Harvard, but honestly I would rather attend there for graduate school, not undergraduate. I’m only a sophomore so I do not mind retaking the test again at all - if even needed.

i thought the police car question was discriminative stimulus

^ Yeah thought so too but stopping a car is mostly voluntary behavior, imo. Unless if you knew you were going to be in a car crash, that’s different, but that wasn’t the subject of the question.

I didn’t complete two bullet points and I am sure I got at least 10/13 right on both FRQs overall…god I am so happy.

It probably is discriminative stimulus, and I have a couple of reasons why:

Slowing down when you see a police car is a learned behavior; it’s the same as slowing down where you know there’s a speed camera – after a while, you do it automatically. As a sophomore, you probably don’t drive, so it’s understandable that you wouldn’t know this.

Also, when you’re driving, you can easily pick out a police car from all of the other cars because of your situation (discriminating between stimuli).

Not to mention that if you have been pulled over by a police car for speeding, that could give you extra incentive to slow down next time you see one.

Good luck to everyone on getting their scores, I’m getting mine tomorrow morning! I can’t believe we were taking this test two months ago.

Does anyone know how many you can miss for a 5? Im pretty sure i missed 1 point on frq and maybe 10 mc but i still got a 5…Wasnt the cutoff supposed to be higher?

Also does anyone know what info the teacher got regarding the ap psych test? I heard they typically get more info.

@nishaus all i know is that they get our scores … lol

LOL true @mylifeisgone195‌
