@ lovelybones
good point. however I am still doing the match just because Yale does not require the common app during the match round. I feel like this, in a way, is a leg up, even if our chances are a crapshoot.

So my guidance office announced that for all applications due November 1st, students needed to hand in stamped envelopes with all required materials on Monday (tomorrow). I assume I only need to mail in official transcripts, school recommendations, and financial documents tomorrow, and can complete the common app and supplements by the 1st, right? Is there anything on the common app or supplements that I need to mail in?

And on schools such as UChicago, they say they want “all supporting documents (including official transcripts, secondary school report, and recommendations)” with the common app - do the recommendations that are on my Questbridge profile count for that?

For Yale on the cover page, it says that it requires Yale ID. And on the Yale Q&A it says after we are announced finalist, they will send an email saying our Yale ID. I didn’t get that email. How did you guys get your Yale ID?

^I’m also curious about this. How do we get our Yale ID?

This is just in theory… I’m curious. What do I do if I want to withdraw from the Questbridge college match process??? or from Questbridge in general?

Regarding the Yale ID, I was wondering the same thing too. But I decided to wait before emailing Yale directly until tomorrow, because finalists have only been announced on Friday and then the weekend came. I would think that Yale is working on assigning/sending IDs within the next few days.

If it doesn’t come tomorrow, however, I’ll be emailing them.

I am curious about the Penn ID too. I guess I have to turn in my supplement online and then maybe I will get my Penn ID. On the Penn coversheet for fianancial documents, one of the items was the Penn Financial Aid Supplement (PFAS), but we are supposed to do that online right? I guess for Penn, I only need to send the tax forms and the coversheet?

Another question for Yale: Do we receive an Eli Account after we submit our QB application? Or is the ID number separate from that?

so just to reconfirm, is everyone sending their scores through the regular delivery?

pretty much. they don’t get there faster when rushed, since it’s all electronic.

Just to clarify all my bubbling questions:

I can send my score reports anytime before Novembers 1st OR colleges need to receive the reports by November 1st.

I can mail my transcripts, etc, anytime before Nov 1st OR colleges need to receive the reports by Nov 1st.

What is Stanford’s mailing address for questbridge applicants?

Can someone clarify UPenn’s rule on score reports?

Documents other than transcripts do not need to be mailed from the school right?

Hmm. I want to drop one of the colleges I ranked…what would happen if I just didn’t submit materials to that college? :/

Also, do we have to submit both ACT and SAT scores? I can see that getting expensive…

I think you need to send them before November 1st.

Postmarked by Nov. 1st

I’m not sure that there’s a separate mailing address, but I emailed them yesterday about some stuff involving mailing, and they should reply in the next couple of days, so I’ll let you know.

Don’t know.

Correct. (As far as I know)

I’m putting Questbridge on my common app awards section, does it count as an international level thing? lol.

thanks goldysocks!!!

@goldysocks- I’d imagine its a national thing.

Another question for Yale: Do we receive an Eli Account after we submit our QB application? Or is the ID number separate from that?

I E-mailed them a while ago [a week or two?] and they said that we don’t need the Yale ID to send the financial documents.

Do I have to mail in a Supplement form for Northwestern if I already sent one in through the Common App?

Is anyone else’s college-specific requirements STILL not showing up? They did the first day I was notified, now they’re not… I really need to print off what I need to have in, but I can’t see Rice’s requirements! In addition, it doesn’t say anything anymore about being a finalist or being able to join the forums… :S I’m a little worried!
