* Strengths: extremely well-rounded, crazy amount of ECs, good writing skills, very good essays (after at least one straight month of working on them...i'm a bit perfectionist about writing)
* Weaknesses: (math) SAT scores, not much work experience
* Why you think you were accepted/deferred/denied: i made it very clear that stanford was my top choice, that i wasn't afraid to leave the east coast and move all the way to california, that i was very dedicated to one area (social sciences and law) yet i enjoyed broadening my horizons, and hopefully, my essays/rest of the application.</p>

I feel so lucky. I'm not positive i'll end up going, but it has been my dream school for all these years, so i am on cloud nine right now.
I wish that the amazing candidates who didn't make it, could have. :(
