Friend called and they said “Mid-December” and wont say the date
At the risk of sounding like a stick-in-the-mud, stereotypical mother, if everyone would stop calling them to ask when they will release, they could get more work done. I’m sure they are sick of reading applications by this point and would like to be finished.

wait… .this is freaking me out… I didn’t get ANY emails about ESTHER… if I didn’t apply for financial aid and FASFA, would that be why? or is it a sign that imma be rejected fosho?

I highly doubt a 30 second call is hindering them from reading applications. Pretty sure the people that answer the calls arent even the admission officers.
@butthurtcookie @arisid98 I didn’t get any emails either and I didn’t apply for fin. aid/FAFSA. I think as long as you got the student portal email you’ll be fine 
Hey guys, I got a new theory. According to Rice’s website, the end of fall semester is Dec. 14. So I guess the results might come out today!
I kind of agree with you I called earlier today and the person who replied started “Th…” or “Twe…”(I assumed they were gonna say 12 but could also be the 13 I guess) then backed out and told me mid-December.

@crazyTM Can you explain your theory a little more? If the end of the semester is tomorrow, would it not be more probable that they come out tomorrow?
Someone should call and ask what time ED will be posted today. Might get it out of someone, before they realize what they are saying

Mid-December is 2 days from now. Lots of other schools have released their ED/REA decisions: Wake Forest, Notre Dame, to name a few. Why is Rice so secretive?
