So I have the option of getting the Official SAT Practice Book ($21) or the Official SAT Online Course for $29.99 (fee wavier discount) and I need to decide which I should get today since I would like to get it next week and look over which ever one during the break.

official book is the best. online course has weird questions as i hear, but its good practice.

however, its best to do tests on paper.

i would actually chose the online course, I believe that most of them are actual tests given, thus will give you an exact score. Also, all of them have detail explainations about all the questions.

I think the online one is the same as the book. You have the option to print out the tests too, I believe. It’s just that the book is more permanent while the online subscription runs out after about four months.

No. Only the “pre-test” gives a released test, the same one you can find on the collegeboard website for free. The rest of the tests are made using questions from the pre-March 2003 SAT practice tests.

It’s not the same as the book. They have different tests. Although, you can download the online course tests as .pdf’s and save them even after the 4 months run out. (Hint: If people are able to download them then that means…)

Bottom line: blue book.
