I got "mode of expression" for idiom, also. Anyone else??

I do not think that the CTY and TIP kids affact the curves, so even if they have not yet been determined, it would not affect scores much

i m pretty sure its marshall, because it said in order to blank economic resources to like require funding for the numerous projects. you don't disperse your economic resources, you want to marshall it or "to bring together and order in an appropriate or effective way" (definition according to merriam-websters)

i got mode of expression too

disperse is an extremely easy word, admit it. when was the last time a #10 on a SC was an easy word- another way to look at it.

The definition of marshal used on the test is quite uncommon...it's not even in my pocket dictionary or my 9,000+ SAT word list (though I must admit it sounds plausible as an answer).

idiom = mode of expression. that's a confirmed answer (everyone agreed on it)

Embrace with take up

Provide with offer

I remember I put that

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyy!!!

i think i'm going to cry. i'm so stressed. exhausted sigh let's hope for the best

marshal

: to fix the order of (assets) with respect to liability or availability for payment of obligations;

for those of u guys who got the candidate problem with 29 voters, was that on the experimental section?
and the ones who got the problem with the triangular pyramid with three conditions, was the answer "more than eight?" or just 8?

If you're that stressed about it why don't you just knock off for the day and get some sleep? Stress isn't good for anybody, and freaking out certainly won't help improve your score.

We'll all know in 2 weeks. Good luck to everybody! :)

i thought the experimental section was the math mc with the bees? did anyone else think this?

yeah, more than eight (aka to infinity)

There isn't really a curve...What ETS does is called centering.

They have a scale before hand used for a particular test and do not take account how well students do for curve.

do the different versions have different scales

wait, why was it to infinity? I thought it was four since the only way for the planes to cut the base in half was diagonally, horizontally and vertically...

which one do u guys think will be the experimental section?

what was the answer for the last math of the first section, with the three conditions for the triangular pyramid?

"nd for unctuous : earnest

it was Sanctimonious: Religion"

Not unctuous : earnest but unctuous : earnestness

It's not Sanctimonious: Religion , it's Sanctimonious: Piousness

There's actually a major difference between the two...

michael pham is right

"anuary typically has a lot of the CTY wannabe munchkins taking the test. They're middle schoolers and usually don't score very high."

Half the ppl at my testing center were middle-schoolers. Unfortunately that's not going to affect the "curve" of the test.
