does anyone remember the last question of any of the 30min math MCs in the native american test?

the math on the native american test was the wrost...the one with the blind historian and the MVP or something like that right? there was one math section right after another... i think that was the hardest one... is there any chance tht that one was the expiremental?? but the verbal was alright wasnt it? i mean at least i think it was :S i used the testmasters list and it was RIGHT ON!! cept tht i didnt remember what Un....:earnestness was so i left it blank, other then that it was awsome ( well at least the analogies and sen. complitions were)!! did anyone get a lot of C's? I forget where exactly but there was like a lot of c's concentrated in one area, and also a couple of e's as well...

i got a lot of e's at the beginning of a verbal section

i feel like the other test with the native american and blind man has been neglected in this thread =( does any one have input on that test?

Okay iv got these for the blind man one..
1. Embraced---take up
2. Offered-----provide
3. something about why the author chose the other biography....i wrote something like coz it wz short and easy to manage
4.the one about what the author felt at the family destroying some guys works...i wrote ironic gratitude
5.there wz a question about why the author uses "real" in inverted comma...dont remembr though..

Analogy list:
1.prune: branches---- clip: finger nails
2.sanctimonious:pious---unctous:earnest
3.celebrity:limelight-----outcast:exile
4.granule:particle------shard:piece
5.jury:verdict----------electorate:vote
6.lyrics:song----------dialogue:play
7.hypothesis:proof.....:S.......cant remember exactly..:P
8.aural:hearing------visual:sight....or something like this
9.spat: quarrel------skirmish:battle

these were my answers....plz correct or add to it...

Sentence comp:
1.dovish..(for leader one)
2.compulsive...(got this one wrong :'(...for scientist one)
3.innoccuous, pejorative..._(about something sounding like smthng but wz belittling)
4.scintillate...(cant remember wat it wz...just remember the word)
5.charming, compliment...(for firing the employees)
6. i also wrote stewardship for one answer...(about a woman ina company)

no man, for the 180 yrds, its 62... 60 for the 180 + 2 for the front and back

no its 61, if u think about it, 60 already includes your endpoint, so you only add 1 for for your front (ie: lets assume if we changed the number to 9, it would be only 4 marks, not 5)

i hate these ****ing fencepost type problems

hell_yeah

the granule:particle was nugget:gold, fairly certain.

A granule is a particle (small piece) of sand.
A nugget is a small piece of gold.

None of the others worked with that sentence.

i didnt have that test UNFORTUNATELY (****) as i studied the entire testmasters list and it seems all th damn words were on it. but it seems the other guy is right with granule= small particle (of anything) and shard= small piece. a nugget doesnt have to be small imo

lol ..look at ur connection

A granule is a particle (small piece) of sand.
A nugget is a small piece of gold.
if it were granule and sand then it wud work...not GRANULE: PARTICLE

granule and particle are basically synonyms and so is piece and shard..
a Granule is a small particle..just like a shard is a small piece.. maybe im wrong though ..n e one else wid theyr views??..

i also put shard : piece, its the only one that made sense.
a nugget can also be a large lump of gold, not just a small piece of gold, so that one's definately out.

Someone wasn't sure about the cards question. It was E. That was just simple ADDITION. I guess your brains got fried after self-studying Multivariable Calculus. I haven't had that happen to me ...yet...

It definately seems like the two tests had different answers to them, because in the contexts of the sentences, the last SC seem to be disperse for the one, and marshal for the other. TCB probably had trouble with cheaters recently and this might just be a way to get rid of them. It seems like this could be the case since there are so many that seem the same from a distance, but when you get closer, then the question has changed (#10 on the last MC, with the two circles)

7.hypothesis proof....suspicion confirmation

"2.compulsive...(got this one wrong :'(...for scientist one)"
how was this not compulsive??? :( i thought it made perfect sense. he kept on checking like a maniac.

a question on the native american passage....
the authors where cited because their works told of naughty individualists who tried to deviate from traditional native american values?

5.charming, compliment...(for firing the employees)
I thought the last word was too extreme. but it's probably right.

and I put compulsive for the scientist one. what was it supposed to be?
