Official Sat I Discussion January 2005

brlwsccr19, I saw many 7th graders and 8th graders, but they had special admission tickets so I don't know if that would affect the curve.

what is testmaster's list??

darn there goes one analogy wrong

yo how do you think the curve is gonna be?

yeah, lol, I'm wondering about that too

can you list any of analogy and s.c. questions you remember? I thought critical reading sections were easy while analogy and s.c questions were hard.

alright there was a few i was confused on the math about... i had the experimental math section

the plane questionn how many planes intersect perpinducal or something like that

the card question. like if two matching cards were added something with the sum

the pyramid something with the area of the triangle side

well anyway do any of you guys know whats going on in these questions?

that card and sum question confused the hell outta me

Phone number question semi-confused me. It looked like an easy on to get tricked on...what did anyone else get for that?

That passage about the two women writers suuuuckkked!

Can you tell me the exact question? I remember having a card question bt i don't remembe the exact. was it something like the probability of picking number3? fot the phone number i got 72.

got 72.

methinks the pyramid traingle height is 2
plane one I say is 4...
matching cards were E

OH wait sorry card wasn't 72, that was the phone one.

Another grid-in: the track that had to be marked every 3 meters and the track was 180m long. was there any trickery to that?

dominus, according to people it was 61. i got 60 though...

damn it! I thought there was something more to it. It seemed way too easy.

wow, did not get the unintelligible: speech one =( =(
AND the last question on the 15 question math.. that was horrible.. most of the questions i had SOME idea until that one. then i was like crap, and started estimating, lol. i picked 9-3pi/2 cuz that's about 4.3 or something and. um.. seemed reasonable X(

it's def 61 because u have to remember the FIRST one.. 180/3= 60, + 1st one = 61

the verbal really sucked.

yo wut did you guys get for the question about how BURGER felt in the last paragraph of that second passage?

did anybody else have trouble getting to the testing center? We had 9-12 inches of snow come down...

was the answer dealing with Narrowing the First Amendment view?
