I am taking chem on october for the first time. Please post your thoughts and opinions.

What do you guys think the curve will be like? I bet -3 = 800

I’m kinda nervous about this, I have two more chapters to read in the Barron’s book.

I Know! I hope it’s gonna be really easy. Btw, why there are 85 questions with 60 minutes limit? how are we supposed to calculate and solve the problems in our brain with less than a minute per question? do they think us as robots or something?

I guess some questions are much easier than others so it kind of evens out.

Lol, test is NEXT SATURDAY! PEOPLE WHO ARE TAKING SAT CHEM NEXT WEEK, POST YOUR WORRIES!

I just got a 780 on the college board practice test for chemistry. WILL I BE OKAY?
I got 6 questions wrong, and I feel like some of my mistakes were silly.
Is Barron’s practice tests harder? because i got a 790 on the last test I took.
Do you guys think I can get 800 even though I never scored an 800 on any practice tests?
Any tips on studying???

^Yes, you will be okay man. You can def get 800 if you score 780 on practice tests. Guys, anyone knows how easy the test is going to be?

GUYS, I got New Hair Cut, but My SAT Photo has old hair. Is this fine?

I’m wondering the same thing. If its not too different, I’m pretty sure they won’t mind. And I did two practice tests from Barron’s and I got a 650 and a 680…

Bump, does anyone have any last minute tips?

I read the sat barrons book over the summer, but basically forgot everything. Now I’m rereading the book, doing about 1/3rd of it each day(did ~150 pages yesterday, lets see how much I get today.) I heard that doing this is really helpful from someone that got a 790 - however the June test was much harder than the barrons test, with people that got 780 on the barrons test getting from 690-740 on the real test.

really afraid. studying alot since 1 month from sparknotes, and yesterday after giving the test i was expecting atleast 750 and i got 570 now i am ****ed off bigtime don’t know whats gonna happen in the real thing :(

Well, I guess I am in the same situation as everybody else here. I have been doing practice tests from the past few days now from Kaplan and PR. My scores have been varying from 700-740. As a international student I need to get 800 to satnd out from the crowd. This really worries me out.:(

Good luck guys. I need to get dat 800 or I won’t be fed.

I’m aiming for a 700+, but I keep getting 650s to 680s on practice tests in Barron’s…

Same here,
I just can’t seem to get above a 730
and the spark notes tests are just a lost cause

SparkNotes tests arent accurate in the depthness of the test + most of their web pages are broken.

ugh we never learned much organic chem in ap chem last year… so much to memorize

freaking the hell out :’((( everyone from my school said it’s super easy and I did well in ap chem last year but forgot everything -____- and ap tests are so much easier since you can literally miss 30% of the questions and get a 5…***** subject tests I keep missing so many and every question wrong is like minus 10.
