Official SAT March 10 Math Discussion

I think it was 15 packs as answer as well.

yes 15 packs

oops 10char

are you guys sure the semi-circle problems stated shaded region? I dont remember that, i put 8pi.

pall they wouldnt ask for any other region.. why else would they shade a certain region than to mention it in the question??? geez.

did anyone know the answer for the 3D polygon that had the triangle inside of it and they wanted to know the perimeter of the triangle
i think i put 24

Yeah, the semicircle one wanted the shaded region.

Does anybody remember the triangle perimeter problem?

Did the sum of two sides need to be twice the value of the third?

for some reason i remember getting 190 lol and then dividing by 12 and get liek 15.833 or somethin gand that meant 16

The answer to the triangle question was 9, because all three sides were of length 3.

The answer to the shaded region-semicircle question was 4pi.

Incidentally, there was a question that asked for the car that had the best mileage, to which I answered D. Was this an experimental question?

Oh, okay good...I got that one =)

How about that decoding message one?

Which "one" did you get, Ashraf?

The decoding one was whatever had 2, 3, and 8 as the last three numbers, respectively, and two front numbers that did not represent anything in the letters for "SECRET CODE."

The decoding was really easy. You just look at the letters that they give and then look at the choices and match them, u will be able to cancel out all of them except one.

Btw, I think I got 4 wrong in multiple choice. So its -4 -.25(4) = -5. That is around a 49 raw score. Thats a 710 right?

it was D or C b/c one of the numbers was S in the secret code so it could not have been W in WATER

does anyone remember the question immediately after the 3D cube w/ the triangle because i can't remember putting an answer down

oh there was this one really stupid question ( although this is coming from a stupid person, lol. yeah im really down on myself)

it was like one angle is 24 degrees.. the ratio of the others is 5 to 1.. idk i couldnt figure it out.

I think I put C...I think I got it right, but I have an extremely poor memory so I become extremely worried =P

On the 4.N one, was the answer 23? Because I've heard someone say the answer was 4.6, but I don't even remember there being any numbers with decimals for answer choices....

The "4.N" question asked for the value of x, not for the prime nor for the digit N. The answer, x, was 4.6. By the way, iin7, the question was grid-in, not MC.
