Official SAT March 10 Math Discussion

=-( and here I was thinking I got a perfect score, lol

did anyone get MEDIAN for an answer.. the one about gas emissions or something.. something about adding 5.1 two times to the chart..

I don't know if this was asked yet, but what did everyone get for the secret code question? I ruled out two answers and then picked choice d...I think.

what would my Math score look like with 5 incorrect and 1 blank? anyone? Do they usually give curves on the Math?

what was the question and answer to the mushroom grid in question what was the question asking?

ugh...i don't know what happened to me on this test. i've had 2 800 maths on my 2 previous SAT's and this time when I actually dominate the writing/CR, I get (i think) 5 wrong on math....what would that be? like 700?

ok guys

what questions were there on the math experimental section? please refresh my memory...i had 2 math sections in a row but do not have ANY memory of doing a problem involving chairs and combinations (supposedly on the experimental section)

to those of you who are sure that you had an experimental section in math: what other questions were there?

What was the answer to that box folding one? I picked the answer with one small flap to the left, and on the right a small flap attached to a long flap...

A .

there was a question about car payments.
chair one: probability of ted and robert sitting next to each other.
picture of a triangular prism: whats the area of the triangle inside of it if there are two midpoints on the edge of the prism. (equilateral, sides of 6)

the last question on one of the math sections was like "if on a line, AB + BC = AC then which of the following is true" or something...

I think the last question on the Math Experimental was something like..... there are 3 different points (A, B, C). WHihc cannot be True
and the choices were like
AB + BC > AC
etc

Spiffy, I think that section is experimental.

oh! then i had that section...but i don't remember
chair one: probability of ted and robert sitting next to each other.

but i do remember that last question...haha completely guessed on that
"the last question on one of the math sections was like "if on a line, AB + BC = AC then which of the following is true" or something..."

does anyone remember that cube question? 3x3x3 with 27 smaller cubes of 1x1x1 dimensons inside? the smaller cubes painted red...and the question asked how many faces would show red?

i guessed 16?

lin77, did the box look like how I described it?

I dont remember the chair question and I got 4 math sections....Weird.

Doesnt it **** everyone that you make such little mistakes. And really on the SAT the questions arent that advanced, you know it all, its just being nervous and timed etc.

Because of this im getting a 710. Grrr.

I don't remember that question either... I had a math experimental too...

hey aquamarinee... do you upload on youtube?

Anyone care to elaborate on the chair question? Because as I said, I got an experimental and cant really remember this.

Getting a good score definitely involves some luck and a lot of confidence. Don't stress out about the 710, Acere; it is a very respectable score.

Hahahaha I have an account, but no, I do not. Why? lol
