Official SAT March 10 Math Discussion

Yes Duper I understand that. Thanks.

The thing is I need 1270 out of 1600 for BrightFutures and since im not a native speaker my critical reading is very low so I have to make up for it with the math.

I have taken the SAT two times and I been getting 530 on critical reading both times. With this 710 in math i would need to get 560 in order to meet the 1270 which may sound really easy for some but as I said, its kind of hard for me. So ya I guess im retaking because I dont trust my CR score.

theres this aquamarine person on youtube who uploads the best videos...private. abd she won't add me as a friend so i can't watch themmmmm. ): youtube is going DOWN.

HAhaha xD Sorry, can't help you there.

If only I could know how many I can miss on math to not fail... aka getting <730 for me. ARGH!

on the math question that was like X=P/4= 4.N
everyone said the answer was 4.6- I got X= 4.6, but i gridded in N b/c i thought that was what it was asking for, this would be wrong right?

^^ i mean to say i gridded in 6 b/c N=6

Yes it is wrong. It asked for X not N.

unfortunately, that would be incorrect. I almost put 23 but corrected myself.

thanks guys
ahhh, stupid mistakes suck, i have 2 on math... what would that score be if say i made 1 other careless mistake?

Chair question was:
there was a drawing of three chairs. What is the probability that Ted will be seated next to Robert? There were names of three guys, the third one was like Steven or something that started with an S.

What the hell? I didnt get anything like that. Is that possible even if I got 4 math sections?

O.o I didn't even SEE that question. Maybe it was the experimental... even though I had an experimental

Well, the chair question was DEFINITELY on my test! I remember it vividly because the drawing of the chairs was so big.

what was the question where the answer was 112 it wasn't the fahrenheit question

does anyone remember the answer to the question where there's points A, B, and C, then it's like which of the following can't be true
A. AB + AC > BC, and so on.
i think it may have been experimental, but i'm curious as to what the answer was

what would 4 wrong and one omit be?

DUNKIN_DONUTS:

I got AB + CD can't = BC or something with a "cannot equal" sign on it.

This question was towards the end, right? I'm pretty sure this was our experimental section. Thank God. I definitely bombed it.

-6 points... 700. according to April 2006's test.

the question to the 112 answer question...was it for the question with like the car selling grid? or was that part of the m/c :P i forget easily

wait so which one was the experimental writing section?

Im asking the people who got a test with the writing section not as the experimental, for your last 6 problems, improving paragraphs, what was the topic?

Can we come up with the actual grid in questions and what they asked for..... I remember that one of them asked for the conversion of 323K to fahrenheit. The answer was 122
