Is there any way to estimate your score on the APWH exam based on your score for this test?

@lab92760 Not really. There are no essays on the subject test, but if you get 700+ a 4 or 5 is reasonable.
Also, which is more impressive: a 770 in USH or World?

@douzepoints Its hard to judge imo, US has a harder curve, but it (arguably) easier and more familar to people. I’d put them at equal.
@lab92760 Essays on the AP World Exam kind of skew it, plus the SAT II is more detail orientated as opposed to the APWH being “big picture”. However, with that in mind, if you did well on this, you likely did well on the exam.

I don’t understand…if 95% of everyone here got above a 650 and most got above a 700 how the hell is the average below a 600???

@iceman1239 College Confidential is 50% populated by HYPSM applicants and other over-achievers. This is not where to find the norm (unless you love feeling inadequate about your chances, then be my guest).
But percentile-wise, I think it is in the 600 or 500 range

@douzepoints yeah it’s definitely making me feel a little inadequate, I see what you’re saying

I got a 790! I’m still in shock because my practice tests never once hit over 740!

Wow, I got MAX 15 wrong according to Google Docs yet… my test result came out to be below 600 and I made sure that my bubbles were all filled in correctly
What a huge shock as I was expecting 770+, perhaps a 800
I think I’m going to request for score verification. Anyone had experience with score verification?

@LegoBoy I’m in somewhat the same situation as you. Wait until the score report comes out on July 1st then rescore if necessary.

I got a 700. If I am applying to UPenn and maybe another ivy league I must retake right? Even though math is my strong suit and I’m definitely not majoring in history…

I would if I were you, but if ur satisfied then by all means use the score. I think an ideal score would be 750+ for ivies. Like you said ur not majoring in history so it shouldnt be the end of the world.

@kA9812 yep Ill probably retake in December because I also want to take Math 1… Definitely not satisfied but from your view was this June subject test for world history harder or easier than the norm?

@KA9812 also if you take four subject tests and you only must submit two, do competitive schools still see the scores you don’t submit? Thanks

@vmiller7723 IIRC if they accept score choice, no.

alright thanks… @digitalking

You don’t even have to retake the test if you don’t want to. Just take a different subject and don’t submit this one.

Im with you @vmiller7723. Im also retaking it in december because im planning on majoring in international relations. Look up the college’s score choice policy and see whether you can choose which scores to send or just send all the scores. I know Princeton and Brown are some ivies that accept score choice.

what does the score report tell us? All that came up for me was percentile…

I think its only percentile, but i thought it would show how many you got right, wrong and omitted.

@KA9812 yea I thought it would at least say the raw score
