This is a thread for the SAT Subject Test for World History.... just post random facts that might be on the test, hard questions from previous tests, and common themes. Also which books are you guys using? I'm reading Barrons and the SAT book and taking practice tests.
Thanks

Anyone want to post a reply???

I am using everything I can!
AP and SAT prep books. The small books with vocab, and two textbooks from AP classes.

Same here. I have these flashcards for the AP (kinda useless, but good for random facts) that seem to have a lot of good info for like specific people, aka scientists and eras. I am also taking a ton of practice tests. :D

I’ve taken the SAT World History subject test in June 2011 (with a score of 780)

The test is very random and you can have anything from the beginning of the human species to something that happened 6 months before the exam. It goes into quite thorough details. However, this test is very merciful, you can miss a lot and still have a good score.

Barron’s is, imo, the best way to prep for this test. Using AP World History books will also help immensely.

So I’ve heard. Is it really that random and specific? Or, in other words, are there some broad questions too, similar to an AP style question? Thanks for your input. I did a couple of practice tests, and have scored pretty well on them, but I am worried about random facts.
