Wasn't the verbal section with the short dual passage experimental.

The korean section was real and so was the hiker section.
2 of the verbal sections had short passages. One of them had a mini dual passage. I'm pretty sure this is experimental. The one with the chimps and the long passage on jewelry is real. I think.

For the chimpanzee one, the first question asked something like what the difference in location caused for the chimpanzees. Did you put lack of communication? I can't remember the exact wording but it basically asked that.

What was the one about studying and passing the test? I put If I don't pass the test then I must not have studied, or something of that nature. What did everyone else put?

for the dual passage about the hikers for the tone question, I put the answer that said the 2nd passage was scholarly because the speaker had experience in the woods or something like that. Was this right?

i'm pretty sure these were the real ones from what everyone has been saying.

the verbal section with short passages about the chimpanzees and a long section on jewelry WAS REAL. it was the first verbal section i took. am I the only idiot who blew it off thinking that it would be the experimental one and realized my mistake when at the end of the test I realized I only had 3 verbals sections and they all counted? maybe if tons of ppl didn't do it or blew it off too they might have a HUGE curve. yeah right, like that's gonna happen. i can hope anyways...

For the rationalizing one, I put he was justifying his reasons for wanting to go on the hike. The def. of rationalizing is "To devise self-satisfying but incorrect reasons for (one's behavior)" which is the same as justifying something.

And for the chimpanzee one, it was because the one group couldn't learn the technical stuff from the other group (or somethin along those lines)

i think your second one was experimental, because i had 2 qc and i have pretty much the same answers as your first set, but the second one i dont remember any of those , so i think the first one is the one that counted...i hope! bc i didnt get the last one of the 2nd one

AlexMartin - I had narrowed it down to 2 choices that said something like lack of communication and the other they were uninfluenced by eachother. I can't remember what I put, it was one of those though

OH that has helped my memory. I believe that it was uninfluenced by each other. But then again, I was torn between that and communication. Anyone else?

There are three different experimental sections:

QC math
30 MC verbal
or 25 MC math

If nne of these sections was repeated on your test then it is the experimental.

The experimental was the second math section with 25 MC because the last question was

I had the 25 MC math one, because the last question was:
"If, you study for this test, you will do good"
What conclusions can be drawn?
A: If you do not do good, you didnt study for the test

Since logic questions were never asked on the SAT

hey BouncingKoala, you're not the only one who blew off an entire section. I just got lucky with the verbal, I blew off the one with, I can't even remember because I looked at the short passages and thought to myself that it had to be experimental. When I looked at the next section with the jewelry, I thought to myself, WHAT THIS HAS SHORT PASSAGES TOO! I went throughout the whole test knowing that I had a 50% chance at getting like a 470 on the verbal!!!
