what was acrobat:circus?

actor:theater

I had pillow : cushion and blanket : warm

and acrobat : circus , actor : theatre

waht was the asnwer to the fill in the blank about everyone recognizing that AMy was haught but they had to respect that she was _________________

articulate?

naim, i remember it being blanket: warm. not sure.

Is it possible for people to have different types of experimental sections. I don't remember glorification, ravenous on my verbal. And I had 4 verbal sections.

pillow cushion...I put knife sharpen..duh I'm wrong T.T

Wow, this thread is crazy. I'd like to clear some things up.

The Verbal section with 3 short passages WAS NOT experimental. Every single person had this section. You either had the Quantitive Comp/Grid-Ins (the 2nd one was experimental) or the verbal section with a passage about Nixon (I'm not sure what questions it had, I just know I didn't have this section).

I felt REALLY good after finishing this test. I was hoping that with a lot of luck that I'd score a 760 math 760 verbal. After reading the 19 pages in this thread, my ego is already hurt. I think I've already found 4 or 5 that I answered incorrect. The answers that some people got for the grid-ins also scares me because I only recognize about 75% of them as my own answers. Hopefully, I'll get a 1400+ out of this.

Good luck everyone.

about the star question.. was the word "magic" used to priase the optic something?

blanket: to warm didn't make sense. it seemed like a DISTRACTOR ... so i put knife : sharpen... it might be right b/c you can use a knife to sharpen

i put knife:sharpen.

what was dramatist: play one of the answers? the one of the other options was painter:paint.. I don't remember the root words though..

For Pillow:Cushion, I put Carpet:Soil. I can't explain exactly why I think this is correct, but it seemed like the best answer to me. Blanket seemed like a definite decoy answer.

for pillow:cushion.. i put blanket:warm

waterlily, yes i think was the success of optics, right?

The weird thing is, my experimental verbal did not have the analogy having to do with lexicon at all. I remember the SNUB: CONTEMPT was in my experimental verbal.

waterwilly, i put lyricist:music instead of dramatist:play. Not all plays are dramas.

dramatist: play
was the correct answer.

That was one of the questions I answered wrong on the October 9 SAT.
I got 18/19 analogies right because of it. I learned my mistake.

OHH is knife sharpen correct?!??! but..I think blanket makes sense too
if the second words wereverbs, pillow is used to cushion...blanket is used to warm...
on the other hand second one was adjectives, pillow is cushion...knife is sharpen...
I DUNNOOOOOO

Alex, what was the question? Lyricist seemed like a much better answer at the time. I can't believe I got that wrong. bad question.

I remember putting corral...livestock and fish...ocean?? somehing like that

hmm.. i have no idea because i don't remember the root words... they started with f..
for one of the grid-in math questions, what was the answer for getting x^2 + 1/x^2 when x + 1/x =10?? does this question belong to the experimental section?
