5 is correct

Ahhh, I hate the vocabulary parts of the Critical Reading section. I know a lot of words, but I'm going to need to work on it a lot more before the real SAT.

I thought the math was really easy, and hopefully I got 70 or higher on the CR and WS.

"You needed a synonym for 'despicable' or 'abhorrent.'"

Wow, I still can't remember this question, but I got the same answers for everything else.

Lbtg47, I think I got 5 for that too

I wish they'd just grade it right now so it can be over with.

Or just somehow ETS or whatever machine grades it breaks down/burns/etc. so that we wouldn't have to find out.

Either.

"what did you put for four lines on a point.... with lengths of 13...11... and total 20 or something i think i put 5"

It was 5

13 + 12 - 20 = 5

hmmm, do you guys remember the exact question, because I was sure it was 18. Maybe I read the question wrong. The numbers were 14, 10, 9, 7, 6, and 11.

For the CR question about the Dominican-American writer that had something to do with "mapping an unmapped country" did anyone pick the one with something about US-Dominican relations... I think I got that one wrong

ctgirl, considering all the posts with 6 hours of the test, I guessing no one, haha.

There was a writing question about barges moving oil to Hartford, I put D, whereas... What did everyone else get?

Let's just talk about CR...

I didn't really get the Dominican author passage, so it took me a long time...In the end I answered every single question, but generally picked the one I thought the author would pick, or the most insightful sounding answer. What'd everyone else put?

I got D for the Hartford one too...dammit I got a lot of CRs wrong!!

"mapping an unmapped country"

not sure about this one. i went with something about "correcting a misconception" or something along those lines. she seemed to be justifying her label of Domincan-American.

mapping an unmapped country? That seems way too literal of whatever the question was, so I just threw it off to the side...I don't remember what I put though.

what was the answer to the writing question that had something to do with the jacksonian administration and transfer the funds of surplus....

"did anyone pick the one with something about US-Dominican relations... I think I got that one wrong"

I can't remember exactly what the answer I chose was -- something about the author being unique...

ctgirl, I put that she had sensibility?

What did everyone put for the question on the Dominican passage that had something to do with English and "tender" or something

For the CR question about the Dominican-American writer that had something to do with "mapping an unmapped country" did anyone pick the one with something about US-Dominican relations... I think I got that one wrong

I put a different answer - something about "the author's sensibilites" - because it didn't really go into relations between the U.S. and the Dominican - it just compared the "feeling" of Vermont with that of the Dominican, not the actual relationship between the two.

"what was the answer to the writing question that had something to do with the jacksonian administration and transfer the funds of surplus...."

I wasn't sure about that either, but I put E. No error.
