What was the question for "12"?

yeah, and the answer was 108 I believe

Hey, that's the question for the one I remember getting 108 on!

Your answer should be incorrect since that's the amount of money she made after noon, but not how many cars she parked. (That was the question, RIGHT?)

i_lose: I had all of those answers except "1". I think that was the one with the graph that looked like a Star of David, and I believe I had 9 for that one.

8 was the f(2)=10 problem
650 was the marble problem
12.... no idea what that was, but it was my answer.

I think one was "Sally makes .50 for each car she parks. She made $90 in a day and parked 72 cars before noon. how much money did she make after noon?"

Unless I misread the question, ugh.

At least I know I haven't screwed up on any of the grid-ins...they seem a lot easier than m/c's since you're not distracted by other answers...and because the question seem easier...

I remember the "12" being the chains one...adding a 7 inch chain to an average of 13 chain whatever one.

Was one of the grid ins about how much money some girl made after noon?

I think it was asking for the number of cars, in which case you would multiply the money earned (your answer) by 2 and come up with 108, which is what i_lose got also.

Yes it was 108

sonar: It said she made $90 throughout the whole day parking cars (where each car she parked was $0.50). Before noon she parked 72 cars, I think, and they wanted to know how many cars she parked after noon, so the answer was 108.

Oh if it was the 6 pointed star question, sorry, it's not 1. I ended up changing it to NINE. I just forgot to update it in my calculator.

were there multiple E's in final part of the error id section?

""I remember the "12" being the chains one...adding a 7 inch chain to an average of 13 chain whatever one.""

Oh, that's right. I got 12 for that one, too.

dang it, i thought it asked for the money she made. maybe i put 108 though, I don't remember anymore, probably not, damn.

STUPID!!! GAAAAARGH!!! I put down three for the equilateral triangles one. I forgot to multiply the final answer by three. Sucker...there goes national merit. Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh. I had that problem, too, and had about seven extra minutes to check it, but no...grrr

Now my day is ruined because I missed a math question :( Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...

In the error ID section, I remember getting a lot of E's (specifically, 5.)...In the middle of that section of it, I got 2 straight E's...which I thought were funny. I think it included the Jackson admin and the Poker question.

""Oh if it was the 6 pointed star question, sorry, it's not 1. I ended up changing it to NINE. I just forgot to update it in my calculator.""

Ah, alright. I remember getting 9 on that one, too.

yea i got around there too

yeah 12 is right

(a + b + c + d + e)/5 = 13
a + b + c + d + e = 65
a + b + c + d + e + 7 = 72
(a + b + c + d + e + 7)/6 = 72/6 = 12

"were there multiple E's in final part of the error id section?"

I really hope so, I got like 3 in a row in the first column of the second page.

thts exactly wht i got
