OFFICIAL saturday PSAT discussion

im pretty sure it was there are.... the subject was plural IIRC

Yeah, I couldn't decide between "to a degree" and "indeed," so I took "to a degree" (in my brain, it was 50% for "to a degree," 30% for "indeed," and 20% for "No error").

what about the question concerning poker- I chose B: model for because it should have been model of (I think)

"what about the question concerning poker- I chose B: model for because it should have been model of (I think)"

I put E, no error.

what about the question concerning poker- I chose B: model for because it should have been model of (I think)

I think I put "no error" but I don't remember the exact structure of the sentence.

model of vs. model for

I put E. No error for that one, as well...

I put E no error..I hate how the writing questions can be so trivial!

i think idiomatically, however, that model for is incorrect

oops.. there goes national merit. it was a perfect combo of stupid mistakes and stupid me

I think I put E.

I think what's most helpful is if I put the grid in answers up instead of the m/c:

10
108
8
650
1.4 (I think this one was any number between 4/3 and 3/2)
1--I mean, 9 because I didn't update it in my calculator after I changed the answer! :P
12
99 (I think it was x+y-z)
1.06 (tax)
.25 (Area of the two circles)

Hey wut do you think my score will be:
1 wrong CR
1 grid-in wrong math
3-4 wrong writing
(any chance curve might be miss one still 80?)

my grid in's

10
I don't remember the question for this one
8
650
1.4
I don't remember the question for this one
I don't remember the question for this one
99
1.06
1/4

what were the questions for the answer 108, 8, 650, and 1

what was the question for the answer of 1... i dont remember if i had that

I'm pretty sure that's what I got, i_lose, except I can't remember getting 1 or 12 -- I may have and just forgotten, though.

Does anybody know what those two questions were?

Frogman, I would say about a 233. I think (and hope) I will receive a similar score.

The grid in for "8"

f(x) = a + x, where a is a constant

f(2) = 10

650 question

If the probability of picking a blue marble is 3/16 out of a bag of 800 marbles, how many marbles are not blue?

The gird in for "8"

f(x) = a + x, where a is a constant

f(2) = 10

650 question

If the probability of picking a blue marble is 3/16 out of a bag of 800 marbles, how many marbles are not blue?

Those questions were the "gimme" ones of the grid-in, I would say.

Was one of the grid ins about how much money some girl made after noon?

was it 90 - .5*72?
