i put "passage of time" as well

Ok... here's how I think I did.
CR: ~3 Wrong, no omits
Math: 3 Wrong, including 1 missed Grid-In
Writing: ~3 Wrong, no omits

What would that be?

BTW, a mere teaspoon is definitely the 'is' part.

I put immaterial....

also, is it right to say "a mere teaspoon of top soil"
The answer was the is part.. I'm pretty sure it was are.

"What did you guys get for the sentence completion question that had the choices of immaterial and irrevocable?"

I think I put "immaterial" for that.

I think that's it in any case; m-w has "of no substantial consequence"

Unlucky, probably around a 225 or a 226.

For the question with possible answers (caustic, vitriolic) and (imperious, unctuous), the answer has to be caustic and vitriolic. The politician cannot be insincerely earnest (unctuous) towards the other candidates behind their backs. However, he could easily use caustic and vitriolic words regardless of their presence.

Thanks!

I put "objective", which is definitely wrong.

I put "immaterial."

what score should i expect with like 5 wrong on each section and no omits?

unluckycharms, I had that too for before I double checked. I'm guessing that you were thinking of "subjective" too.

What was the answer to the one about the Dominican author....
what was the author trying to do in lines 30-100 or whatever...

tx46: Personally, I put the one about displaying (or something) a conclusion; I think it fit best because it isn't just passage of time, the fading of the colors to a "uniform" or conformist or something like that implies that the kid became submissive and no longer tried to challenge the status quo after overhearing the argument his mother and father had. It could have been the one about him learning a lesson but I don't think that's really a "lesson" per se...passage of time seemed too narrow/superficial to me.

"What was the answer to the one about the Dominican author...."

an established writer who was critical of the author

"what was the author trying to do in lines 30-100 or whatever..."

I put "identify herself"

Rika, probably about a 214 or 215

bah, so there goes national merit.. i am sure i probably got a bit more wrong that i made careless mistakes on :|

I answered the same as sonar.

"what was the author trying to do in lines 30-100 or whatever..."

I put "identify herself"

Is that the choice with the unique sensibility?

thanks for everyones help!

any freshman out there?:)

did you guys put that the "acquantaince" and the "observer" are the two ppl with the same viewpoints (in the telepathy passage)? it seemed to me like they were both skeptical of telepathy

tx46, that is correct.

"did you guys put that the "acquantaince" and the "observer" are the two ppl with the same viewpoints (in the telepathy passage)? it seemed to me like they were both skeptical of telepathy"

yup, that's what I had.
