<p>I'll go first with the stats dump. Freshman at NYU majoring in Economics. </p>

-Organized charity talent shows for 3 years in a row(Interact club).

College:
-Founded a company, development is in phase, minimum viable product probably by May.
-Developmental Economics Research - Currently working on a paper examining why gender ratios in China, India, and Sub-Saharan Africa are much lower than the developed world.
-Management Consulting Group(Couple of case competitions)
-Planning a 10k race fundraiser for charity:water, a NY based charity organization. Most likely will be held in Central Park or Downtown.</p>
<p>I was actually inspired by my Economics professor(who used to teach at Stanford) to apply. He mentioned that students at Stanford lead rather composite lives where academics is just one facet. He was comparing it to the likes of Yale and Columbia, where academics is generally given more emphasis(Stanford students are usually busy changing the world). Not to say Stanford's academics are weak by any means, I just think Stanford will offer a much richer undergraduate experience coupled with a balance that schools only dream of achieving.</p>
