<p>My college counselor talked to our local adcom, who told him that decisions should be available around 4PM on Friday.</p>
<p>Highschoolqueen called the admissions office, by whom she was informed that emails will be sent out at 3PM on Friday.</p>

<p>I know that almost 2 days are left before the decisions will come out and that it is meaningless to ask such things, but do you know whether recommendation from famous astrophysicist who taught me will boost my chances of getting accepted? I just want to concentrate in astrophysics.</p>
