Official Stanford RD Decisions Countdown

I’m sorry :frowning: But maybe your luck will turn around.

hopefully! my dream school is harvey mudd. i would pretty much do anything to go there <3
but i got into my safeties, so at least there’s that :]

Me too, so at least I know I’m going somewhere. Plus, I love my safety, so I would be happy going there. So everything else is just gravy.

what’s your safety?
out of my three (cal baptist, ucr, cal poly slo) i think i would go with slo :]

unc chapel hill, which isn’t really considered a safety by most people, but being in-state helps, and being accepted takes away a lot of pressure. and those are great schools for safeties!

@Nerdlings when did you get this email? The last one I got from Stanford was that they got my application…

@goldysocks: thanks :] yeah, i’ve heard great things about unc! i just don’t personally know anyone there, but fer sure :]

@hahvad
January 6th, titled “ACTION REQUIRED - An Update from Stanford on the Status of Your Application”. You had to click on a link to “send confirmation to our office that you have received this email. Following this instruction is very important.”

can’t time speed up just a tad?

@usernamee: Don’t we all wish for that? Just this once? :(

Let’s build a time machine.

Hey, if we did, we’d probably all get into Stanford.

CC genius at it’s best.

haha, yes, a time machine is genius :D

wait so are they seriously gonna release decisions on the 25th!?!
dang… i get almost a whole week to feel like crap before i find out from everywhere else i applied.
ive already gotten into Virginia tech (instate) and WUSTL, but thats probably not a great indicator, they’re both a good bit easier.
time to prepare for the worst… yay!

I want to be excited but I can’t knowing the predicted acceptance rate is freakishly low, 6.8% or something like that :O

WAIT. WAIT. Decisions on March 25th? High possibility? Low possibility?

I cannot handle this wait. I can’t.

SATdestroyer, Are you serious? 6.8% isn’t it usually 8% ? hmmm, much more selective than Harvard!

^ It’s been decreasing consistently every year. So I would imagine it to be something like that.

And Harvard will be ike 5% this year!
