Best thing ever would be a huge skype with all of us when letters come out… so we can congratulate the acceptances and remind everyone else that they’ll do great things even if they don’t go to Stanford :)

Courtney I think I added you!! I’m keeping my profile pic as a cat til application season ends (idk how long that will actually last hahahah)

That sounds awful! I can just imagine myself hysterically crying while all you accepted people try in vain to console me…

My profile pic is a cat, too XD but I don’t think I’m going to friend anybody on Facebook. I’m afraid you’ll all learn how boring I truly am :P

^For once, I agree with you! XD

yeah there was this rumor (not confirmed) that Stanford admission peeps have access to ppl’s facebook accounts.
Highly doubt it though :P

Wulfran, you BETTER add me on facebook! You’ve already proved yourself to be interesting!
Nerdess- I actually went to a lecture about that the other day. It’s all rumors! No college admissions officers have security clearance that lets them around an individual’s privacy settings! So lock your facebook up tight and no admissions guys will be able to get to it!

I know administrators from my school will sometimes create dummy accounts to friend people and watch their accounts, but I doubt the Stanford admissions team has access to your FB. What they do have access to is whatever you’ve made public- so now is the time to clean up, if you haven’t already!

haha on second thought maybe it wouldn’t be such a great idea

I’ve set up two plans for decision day:
I’m going to visit all my family in LA for Christmas and if I get in we’d probably drive up to look again…and granted I’d be really happy

If I don’t get in I’m going to apply to do a Rotary year abroad in South America! Because you have to start the paperwork about 10 months ahead of your departure. But if I get in anywhere in April that I would really want to go to then I’d withdraw the Rotary application.

Anyways, both of the above situations would be my dreams so I’ve set myself up for success in December with a rejection, defferral, or acceptance :)

@Courtney: keep in mind that there’s little point to friending me on Facebook. I’m switching to Diaspora the MOMENT it comes out! :D

Y’all are CRAZY PEOPLE. However, minniemouse, I think a skype date BEFORE acceptances come out might be kinda fun! Maybe give it a week to get to know each other better, and see how we feel? I THINK THAT’D BE AWESOME! :D

ahah yep my account’s been locked up as tight as it can get since day 1 of its existance :P

minniemouse—GOOD FOR YOU! :D

YES I agree that’s an excellent idea…Skype def before! ahh I hope we all get in/end up at the same colleges if we’re applying to the same places!

this sounds like…a blind “date”.

awkward turtle

ANYWAY it’s very gray and rainy here in California. How’s weather in [insert your location]?

It’s beautiful fall weather here in Missouri. Leaves are starting to change, which are GORGEOUS, temp is dropping to a comfortable 65. Picturesque fall weather :)

@ nerdess: It IS gray and rainy! This isn’t normal for SoCal is it?? :(

haha sorry I’ve been kind of inactive for an hour, my mom decided to take my sister and I out to dinner even though earlier this morning she was yelling at me for not having my essays done! weird… I know.

SOOOO in reference to surfing to school…
at my school, YOU CAN TAKE YOUR BOAT…bahaha. Someone only did that once for after midterms, no one else has really tried it. It’s quite expensive to take out the boat for just a day or so.

There are three kids applying to Stanford early from my school, and Stanford HATES my school since all the smart kids choose the Ivies/East Coast Schools over Stanford unfortunately, but that’s def not the case for me. I’m not applying to any Ivies :)

This turtle is so awkward, it is swimming in circles: behold, the one-handed awkward turtle!

It’s… dark. Over here. It was a lovely day, of course, but, well… homework.

Today was a really nice day in Miami, did I get to enjoy it? NO.

@ fledgling
Really? My friend in SoCal (Clairmont) told me it was sunny! Weird, huh?
Weather’s been quite the whack for some time. It was supposed to be cold a month and a half ago, and my area had been fluctuating between burnin’ hot and chilly…and now, rainy. (FINALLY).

@wulfran
you’re an interesting one. hahahahhaha

@crmichi
aww story of our lives, right? >_<

@coutneyenpointe
picturesque fall! How beautiful
speaking of leaves falling and changing their colors, gotta study bio soon. T__T

let’s share quotes! I love quotes, and frankly I can’t choose one important/mindblowing over another, but some that apply to us the best?
