^^^…doesn’t Stanford lack a business major?

I’m thinking International Relations/Business…

@wulfran… they do but you can get all the pre-business prerequisites from the graduate business school. I was thinking Bachelor’s in IR and then an MBA to go into International Business. BOOM

Feminist studies.

^^ Niiiice :D

^ Also nice, if not quite as much money :P

Oh I’m planning on becoming a neo-natal surgeon. Just going to get my pre-med credits while doing something interesting :)

@Courtney: XDDDDDDD that’s pretty awesome. Nice going :)

I want to be a writer or an editor or something, or to go into academia. But if I can stand all the computer science… VIDEO GAME DESIGNER. All the way. 8D

(I obviously don’t have much of a condensed view here. :P)

Hahahahaha I just read the missing posts I hadn’t seen. WOW YOU GUYS HAVE NO LIVES!

I last posted around 1:00 pm Eastern Time. During then and now (10 eastern) I did the following:

Ate lunch
took hour nap
Went to choir practice (beasted!)
Went to dinner with friends
Went to local acoustic concert of band Seeing Skies (www.myspace.com/seeingskies ) I’m their official photographer, and they’re kicking off this awesome concert tour. So yes.

Yall are sad.

I’ll wake up tomorrow and do some disease detective work .:D

^ You have such an interesting life. :)

^^ Sundays are for not having lives. If I had a life all the time, I could never relax. :D

I’m kind of wondering what the partying atmosphere is like at Stanford. I’m sure it’s not as bad as MIT, but how does it stack up with other Pac-10 schools?

pfft, sorry jason, that I enjoy the Friday Night’s outings?
Usually, I totally chillax on Fridays.
Saturday---- work. Rest. Work. Rest.
Sunday----cramcramcramworkworkwork.

Sounds “sad”? Nah, I like it. Work hard, play hard. :]

@BigKev

I have a friend on campus (sophomore) who told me you can make partying a priority…or not. When I visited she and her friends were getting ready for a Thursday night costume party if that tells you anything.

Hey Jason, F U C K you! We have enough of the academic elitism on this post, we don’t need social elitism, too!

Mom: “Study hard, party harder”
^ Stanford Alum

Haha that’s awesome. I’ve been missing out on some partying since the summer ended and I had to start college applications. I can’t wait until all this is done lol.

^^^ Easy there, Courtney…

regarding partying at Stanford…

yup! I mean, it’s really not different from any other colleges.
If you wanna party, go party.
If you wanna study, go study.
If you wanna be involved, go involve yourself.
No one’s gonna stop you. There’s something for everybody.

People I know at Stanford are mixes of the above. They are generally studious, active students, so it’d be biased to say that all students are like them but I do believe social networking (the actual vis-a-vis kind, not just facebook xD) is a big deal :]

@BigKev
I hear ya. Except I do go out, I just don’t engage in the debauchery I used to

Haha don’t hate guys! I’m only kidding. I like the energy of the forum. I just reserve Sunday as a day of rest. Very beneficial, not sure how manage it. <3 courtney
