I AM SO EXCITED. ahem. back to serious talk. I am simply happy. I feel as though I’ve accomplished the first of many steps towards my lifetime goal of making a difference. While my initial goal was simply a good school, and not particularly stanford, I have now come to adore stanford and look forward to going. I am glad I took the risk of applying as a junior <a href=“It%20was%20a%20risk%20because%20I%20figured%20I%20would%20probably%20be%20rejected%20and%20it%20required%20me%20to%20spend%20time%20writing%20essays%20instead%20of%20working%20on%20my%20intense%20amount%20of%20homework”>I only applied to MIT and Stanford: Defered-> Rejected from MIT, I would have another year to apply if I wasn’t accepted by either</a> because as senior year I would have lack sufficiently challenging courses.

General Comments:
I’m actually honored to be waitlisted-- especially since Stanford seems to hate my school. Also waitlisted at Harvard and Columbia, rejected at MIT, and accepted at Brown, Cornell, UChicago, and Yale.
