Okay it’s my first post here, I just had to make an account after reading all the discussions about the TASS program on here! I submitted my app today online, so anxious! Please tell me is there any of you out there that applied this year?! What were your choice order? Essay topics?!!

Submitted mine today! I also was reading all the past TASS threads and was hoping there would be one for this year! Ahh so glad there is!! I put the Indiana one as my first choice.
My D applied. She went back and forth, but ultimately decided on on Indiana as her first choice, with Cornell second. Her dad is African American and it was a great experience for her just talking with him about the program choices, the essay topics, etc. Even if she isn’t chosen, that alone made it worthwhile.
@wwwwwwendy Ah okay! So I’m not the only one obsessed with this whole thing haha @sseamom it definitely worthwhile, I think this is the first year they’ve had three schools in the program…

tass alumni here, so jealous of yall, the seminars for this year look incredible

To everyone who applied, a general question. How formal were your guys’ writing style? I’m afraid that mine was too formal, but I didn’t want to take any comedic risks per se… :-SS
I don’t think mine were too, too serious, but serious enough that I got my point across.
^ same, I also tried to put in some humor, but I don’t know if that was the way to go.
@wwwwwwendy my essays were the same way.
I actually put in a lot of humor and sarcasm O.O which is really risky I guess but it’s a huge part of my personality and writing style so even my academic papers are like that.
