Same. Are you guys applying to back up programs in case Tass doesn’t work out? I’m thinking of maybe a couple others but theyre only like a week long.
Yeah I tried to look some up but so far either they haven’t e sounded very interesting to me or they were very expensive.
@TheLandOfArielle yeah our local college has a few summer programs but they don’t last more than a week or two
That’s cool, I saw this one for Carleton college for a week but it doesn’t seem that iinteresting. I’m pretty much banking on this summer program

There are quite a few here, and many haven’t hit their deadlines yet. If there is a “Governor’s School” in your state or if you’re low-income or minority some of these might be what you’re looking for. D has one she’s looking at and is working out a local plan involving a class at one of the area colleges, working at the summer camp she used to attend and helping at her dad’s job (local government). If TASS doesn’t work out I plan on volunteering at a local hospital. But I really hope TASS works out!

I saw on the telluride Facebook page that there was a 50% increase of applicants this year, a record breaker. So seems like with the addition of Cornell its still the same amount of competition :-S
Oh, well that is terrifying…I’ve really lost all hope at this point…
About one more month to wait…currently waiting for anymore anxious Tass applicants to start replying

Do you guys know how many people apply to TASS? I think they said they only choose 64 people for an interview. And then how many do they pick for the actual program after the interview? Or if you get an interview does that mean you’re in?
@ndemazita I don’t know specifics, but this year there’s a 50% increase in applicants ( though there’s a new seminar, so it turns out to be the same).
I think around 100 people get selected for interviews, and then half of those get accepted?
