On my BU Web Link, it says that i am missing my Mid Year Report and that they can’t review my app until my counselor uploads this. However, my mid year grades arent final until January.
Does anyone’s application status says this?

@luceatluxvestra - Same on my app status on BU link

Did anyone who applied to Villanoa/Drexel get an email for a drexel payment for the supplement? I’m still waiting for them (I submitted the supplement to the Villanova portal on time).

@National my RPI app also said submitted on the 14th even though I submitted before (I think i submitted on the 1st of November?), but I got a supplement from Albany Medical College last week, which was due today. Not too sure how they send out their supplements though.

Anyone else applying to UConn SPiM? I heard that notifications for the program come out after acceptance letters.

Wow that must have been a pretty big cut for the RPI supplement then. @ddrew97 did you apply to any other programs?

@AcceptMeOrNot , @Dorhawk or anyone else who got interview at BU - have you submitted your mid year report already?

@Me4college do you think the lack of a Midyear report could have disqualified me from an interview? I don’t see how I could have submitted one. Semester one ends in February.

@Deriveme , donno , my D is in same situation. Sem 1 results won’t be out until end of Jan.
Hence I wanted to ask those who got the interview, if for them Sem 1 is not done yet, did they submit anything related to Sem 1 (in-progess) grades ?

@Me4college The thing is that I was initially missing my science teacher’s recommendation letter, so I called the admission office around Thanksgiving break and asked about it, and the officer told me to email the rec letter AND that my mid year report was missing. They told me to have my guidance counselor send in my quarter grades or anything that was available. In essence, it wasn’t really a “mid-year” report that I sent in, and I got no notification of missing the report until I called.

Have fun competing with me!! :))

@Me4college @Deriveme No, I haven’t sent in my mid-year report since my school does not release them until late January. I do not think having this missing affects interview notification.

I submitted my grades to BU from the first 9 weeks - so halfway through the semester. don’t really think that submitting these makes a difference for interview. I got called for interview for Miami, but at this rate BU is not looking too hopeful

Based on @Dorhawk got interview but did not submit anything for midyear and @anandhini submitted (kind of in-progress) report and did not get interview, I guess not submitting anything did not make difference in interview invite.

Probably D’s application it not make the cut for interview invite.

:(

@Me4college I’m pretty surprised that more people are not getting that BU interview. From last years decision thread it seems like many CC students were interviewed and selected. The BU admissions office did tell me that they would continue to send out interview notifications though so don’t lose hope!

Has anyone received notification from RPI/AMC for anything??

@jb9832 several people have reported receiving the AMC supplement for RPI. I personally have not.

For the HPME application “grade report” what are you guys putting for “length of course”? Am I supposed to write “1 year” or “2 semesters”? Or do they want it in weeks? Anyone know??

Also, for the HPME activity sheet, is anyone filling out all of the provided spaces for activities or adding any extra? I’m probably going to need to add a couple more lines or so but I don’t want to look like I’m trying too hard. The least significant activity I have on there would be “president of STEM club” where we fundraise for science program and do a bunch of other cool stuff. Granted, it’s not on the level of Intel or anything, but I have been doing it for three years now and it does show my interest in STEM.
Would you guys consider an activity like that trivial for HPME?

For HPME, I put “semester” or “full year” for length. Idk if that’s exactly what they want, but i think i got my point across.

And, @Deriveme , I used all my spaces. I mean, its pretty impressive that president of STEM would be the last thing on your list, but it seems like an accomplishment definitely worth noting. Also, there are a ton of spaces as is, but im sure they made the table on word so you can add stuff if need be.

Thank you @Deriveme. I’m slightly concerned as to why I haven’t received any notification yet. Do you know if it is on a rolling basis, like dependent on how late or early you submitted the application? I was reading other people’s posts from past years and they didn’t receive any notification until the beginning of January, so maybe there is still hope.

@jb9832 With Albany Med combined programs, you need to be very patient. You may not receive your supplemental application till Feb. and interview till March. Good luck!
