Did you get an email or snail mail informing of their decision. TCNJ process is a bit unknown to us.
The latest average stat for the Howard program (2014-15 entering class) are as follow:
3.7 GPA
2060 on SAT
31 on ACT
125 verified applicants/25 interview spots/15 enrolled students

@teenagecrime Congratulations. Can you please share, what does it mean? Is Union stating that that they have forwarded your application to Albany or have they given you a link or mailed the Albany application? It is not clear what to expect if there is any second application, what need to be filled for Albany in terms of any LORs or Tx or Test reports besides completing an application. Appreciate if you could shed some light. Thanks.
@dudefromnowhere - TCNJ e-mail from Dr. Shevlin for rejection. 500 application received by them. they will accept 25. encouraged to continue application for regular admission- which anyway not interested. @goaltobemd - TCNJ - applied about a month back.
Todays news- Passed Second round Union / AMC - email today from AMC to submit additional supplement and fees.
@goaltobemd - RPI second round coming out by 12/10. AMC lady informed today. very few RPI second round sent out for people who applied very early. most bulk of it to fill supplement will come out by 12/10 for RPI,
@GoldenRock Union second round, directly is coming from Albany Medical College. It is not coming from Union. That means Union has reviewed your application and passed it on to Albany medical college for consideration. Second application is all details about you and your credentials on experience, extra ciriccular activities etc… with 3 additional short essays - like why this program etc… no further recommendation or transcript request. It is online on there website. they have provided link with ID and Password to login. as soon as you login, you can view your partial credentials. rest all you need to fill up. also Medical application fees need to be paid. they mentioned, it means, from larger pool of candidates, very few were passed to AMC by Union. all passed to AMC is required to fill this supplement and pay fees to be considered for Interview. 7 days are provided to fill up supplement. after which login will be disabled. they will keep sending supplement to all qualified people passed by Union. everyone will get 7 days form date they receive e-mail with web link.
@Dadofhskid congratulations on Albany supplement. Thank you for all the detailed information. This is very very helpful. I applied to TCNJ right before the Thanksgiving break. Do you know if they are going through the applications in batches? Or have they reviewed them all after the deadine and sent out emails? Fingers crossed for 12/10. Did anyone make it in the first round for RPI?
@goaltobemd - TCNJ- I like to think, they have sent out e-mail for out right rejections. However I dont know, if you just applied before Thanks giving, then if they got to your application. I like you think, if you didnt get rejected, you are good for second round consideration. Good Luck !!

@dadofhskid does getting it early mean anything? I don’t believe my best friend got the invitation, but she applied a little earlier than I did and her numbers were not really much lower
Have any of you heard from the UH 3/4 BS/MD program regarding interview invitation? My understanding is that we should hear soon after Thanksgiving break.

@goaltobemd It appears TCNJ processing all apps after the 12/1 cutoff and sending rejections first. We applied in 10/7 but only y’day got a mail informing app is complete and will know result in March. Neither rejection nor an indication that app will be considered for MD program.
@GoldenRock I too got that email yesterday. Since I applied only last week, I assumed it was an acknowledgment email from them after the TG holidays. Since you also received this email yesterday eventhough you applied sooner, your tke on it makes sense. Thank you for your input.
Same here, got an acknowledgement of the complete application by TCNJ, no email from Dr Shevlin, hopefuly that is good news as far as next round is concerned.
Applied to Albany Medical through Union and Siena but no communication so far so keeping fingers crossed.
UMiami said that we will hear about the next steps for BS/MD in 5 to 7 days
Rejection in from UMiami this morning.
Is Union processes in batch or all got selected for the next stage got the Albany app? So far no mail from Union.
@Solar7Flare I was wondering when they would release the results for the UH BS/MD as well because the email from Mr. Bott said they would start extending invitations after Thanksgiving.
