@skinsfan123 My son applied on Nov 30th. Based on what I read here, it seems penn state does interviews in multiple rounds.
@Dadofhskid regarding Drexel: They must have not yet reviewed your application like mine is not yet by RPI. I would suggest call them. Find out if they have reviewed it yet or not. I don’t think there is anything to worry. No news is good news at this stage.
@GoldenRock I applied RD so this makes sense. Thank you. With most colleges not letting you do ED or EA with BS/MD programs, this one slipped by me.
My Drexel application is still entirely in review.
Based on last year when can we expect more interview notifications for other programs?
Just called Drexel college of medicine and they told me that Drexel/Drexel decisions are yet to come because interviews don’t happen until February
Yep-my Drexel undergrad acceptance was posted, but that was all! The portal gave no indication that they were reviewing my BSMD app (though it said submitted in the application checklist) so I called and they said it’s normal. What was kinda strange was that they said that they send you the email asking for $150 (in late January) only when you are selected to be interviewed. I guess this means that the medical school admissions board doesn’t look at your stuff until after you’ve been selected to be interviewed, and undergrad admissions are the ones who decide whether you are selected for the next stage? I’m not sure!
Also, just out of curiosity, does anyone know when the REMS notifications go out? :0 I’m on the edge of my seat here!!!
I guess many called Drexel today:) They told me undergrad decisions are sent out only to people who applied EA. People who applied RD will be informed of Undegrad decision only in March. The file is being reviewd by the medical college committee now and they will send notifications only in late Jan /Feb range.The UG does not have any say in the MD part of the program. So all who applied RD will hear from Medical college first before they do frrom the UG office. EA and RD people are in the same pool for medical part of it. Hope this helps.
@agirlinasweater I have my UG Alumni interview for Rochester on Sunday. Did you ask for one yet? They highly recommend it.
@goaltobemd Yep–I had that one on-campus!! What I’m wondering about is the big BS/MD interview weekend ;u; I have been checking the MyROC portal application tracker every day…
@agirlinasweater ha ha… what step of the process is your application in? mine has been in step 2 for sometime now. Maybe if we look at last years’ threads we can get an idea.

@sonpat What date did u submit AMC app? It appears they seem to be very quick based on the previous person who got the interview.
