@kp122397 they only invite 80ish students for the interview so they must have, otherwise how would they have selected?

My D submitted on 15th night. But the variable in her case, she has applied to both RPI and Union, though she has got only notification from AMC for Union as of now⊠So far you and the other person who has got the interview, applied only to Union. Need to wait and see how it will unfolds.

@GoldenRock Yes I got an email. I applied for siena as well but I havenât heard anything from them yet which is weird
@GoldenRock when was your app to RPI complete? You can see the app complete date on the top when you log into the portal. My date is Nov 6. Yesterday narkor got Albany supp from RPI and his D had completed app date on Oct 30. The lady at RPI told me they go in order of the app completion date.
Also RPI is closed from Christmas to NewYearâs. So if they donât review our file next week(short week) we will have to wait until after the holidays!

@PlanningMyFuture Hope for the best. Some thing will work out in your way. For Penn state, need to wait longer untill Feb to know one way or other. Based on posts, it is not following any pattern in what order they are processing.

@PlanningMyFuture I wouldnât despair over that gpaâlooking at your ACT scores, it looks like you go to a difficult school, and especially if all the so-so grades were in ninth grade or something, they shouldnât hold you back too bad.
If anything snubs you, I think it would be the out-of-school activitiesâthere are some people here who have hundreds of hours volunteer work, hundreds of hours hospital work, awards from national science competitions⊠I donât know where they find the time but I shake in my boots every time I see a profile like that!
Regardless, given your ACT, Iâm sure you will get where you wanna go; remember to take these BSMD rejections with a grain of salt!
@goaltobemd my RPI application is showing Application submitted date 11/06. however SAT II scores is showing date of 11/11. I know that I had submitted application on 10/31. also all SAT scores is showing delivered much before 11/01 on collegeboard site. nonetheless- which date should I consider for being in queue 11/06 or 11/11?
@Dadofhskid I would consider it as 11/11. The lady at RPI told me the application complete is the date they go by. My SAT score delivery date is 11/6 and that was the last document submitted. The date on top of the table is 11/6 also. I will let you know if and when I hear from them. If they take 11/6 we shold be in the same batch. Collegeboard had issues sending scores in October. So we might be one of the zillion affected parties.
@PlanningMyFuture your stats look good. From the posts on this thread, it seems penn state holds interviews in multiple stages. just hang on.
Thanks for reply @goaltobemd It is weird. for me also date on top of table is 11/06. all other dates are 10/31 or 11/01. including test scores date is 11/01. only SAT II score is saying 11/11. How is it possible that my test scores got delivered on 11/01 and SAT II got delivered on 11/11. I submitted all at the same time. Lets just keep checking with each other, when we hear from them. On another note- How was Alumni Interview for UR? Any insight any recommendations?

@Dadofhskid these dates are weird. For GW my app said High School report was missing whereas they had received the transcript. Both are sent at the same time by my counsellor and they all went through Common App. So how could this be missing? When I called they said it was so because it must have not put in my file and hence the missing status. Eventually it got cleared. I think the received date is not actually when they receive it. It is when they put it in our file.
Now that you mentioned they are SAT 2 scores maybe I feel you too are in 11/06 batch. Anyways we will keep each other posted.

And side note - Itâs killing me to watch the CWRU EA decisions rolling in. Itâs making any hope of PPSP interview invite slowly fade away right nowâŠ
do the CWRU EAâs also include PPSP? I applied CWRU for PPSP but thru regular decision, but havent heard anything from then yet.
