I’m curious, are they sending out rejections in these waves too? It seems like no one on the waitlist has gotten “rejected” so far.

Curious too, really hope I could receive a letter tomorrow…

@AndromedaSaysHi Thanks! So you decided on UCLA?
@ForeverHope I believe they will send out the “rejections” after all the spots have filled up.

god so whens the next wave? i really needa get in alsdcmaslkdcmasldc

@aaskdwqa I second that lol!

Anyone hear anything/get any news?

Well, nothing here. It’s been a pretty eerie silence (at least here on CC). I looked back at last year’s UCLA waitlist thread–the one for Engineering students–and the final rejection notices were sent out on May 10th, late afternoon. A few people verified their receipt that day. We’re 6 days past that. I know technically they keep the window open until June 1, but I wonder if they’re pretty much done pulling from the waitlist? I hope not, but if so, I wish they’d hurry and send the final rejections. Would make it easier to move forward : )

@tippytoe Yup I guess no hope at this point, just send the rejection already :/

hey guys!any news on international students getting in so far?or the stats?ugh im trying to be positive…but things are just looking depressing

Is there any number that I can call to get more information on the waitlist? It may be possible that they have stopped picking people, or it might be that the people who visit this site haven’t been picked and that people are still being drawn

I just emailed UCLA’s admission office and asked them about the waitlist. I’ll post what they say on here as soon as they reply to my email.

@mdelariv thanks for doing that I think we are all hoping for an update

Did anyone not accept admission in College L&S, Physiological Sciences? At this point I am thinking that my D won’t be accepted off the wait list since there seems to be very little movement in the last week?

Approximately 800 students were offered the opportunity to wait list. Official decisions will come out after June 1st, and no later than July 1st. Trust me on this one chaps. So just relax and look forward to the first. The decision will be based on whether there’s space in the major you applied to and whether your an in state or out of state student. There was another bit of information I’d chosen to add, however, it seems as though I’ve been plagued with the mind slips. Good day.

Are you talking about the undergraduate wait list or the transfer wait list? The email says that the decisions are still going and that it will go throughout May.

@CAmom102—same exact major/situation here. The silence is maddening. I’d almost rather be seeing OTHERS getting in daily, then “nothingness”. @Skydivewme23, I don’t think any of that information is correct for the undergrad waitlist. @mdelariv, did you find anything out via email or phone?

@tippytoe It’s been about 4 days since I emailed them and I have heard absolutely nothing back. Sorry.

@Skydivewme23 That information is completely wrong. The UCLA Undergraduate admission portal says this, “it is likely that we may not be able to notify you of an admission decision until after May 1, and no later than June 1.” So at the most we have 11 more days to here back from UCLA but decisions will be done by the end of May.

I think that there is still a chance that after the June 1st “deadline” that offers will most likely still be going out if spots are still available. They’ll keep sending offers out until ALL spots are full, so if someone drops out in mid-July, they’ll probably take out the next person off of the wait list. Waiting is so stressful.

The waiting is so stressful. I SIREd at UCSD and, while I do like the school, I would love to go to UCLA.

Take it out leave it. My sister works in admissions. Your welcome and good day.
