ETA – Although now that I think about it, why is the vendor so quick and competent about fixing tech-type problems, and yet completely incapable of, say, adding post numbers? It doesn’t make sense to me.
Did CC hire a vendor who has never ever put together a forum before? A vendor who has never even seen a forum before? I doubt it. No, IMO the stonewalling originates at CC.
I think it would be great if all the mods went on strike

For the record, ML, we like you. 
I know they haven’t been able to replicate this problem, but I’m back to being logged out whenever I click on my name and then logged back on when I go to other pages.
This logout issue has been going on for months. Wonder if it’s because of the March rush 8-|
tikimom, I have asked the same question many times over the past two months about the MT forum, including right after the debacle of a changeover happened. No answer, or even an acknowledgement of the problem has been forthcoming.
@alwaysamom, I remember seeing yours and others on this same topic. The communications blackout is totally incomprehensible to me. In my own work, I’ve often been caught in the middle of vendor software issues affecting my customers. No conversion is ever 100% smooth, and some are very, very rocky. But the very most important thing, even more important than getting the vendor to fix problems quickly, is keeping an open communication with my own customers so they know what to expect. Damage Control 101. It’s just common sense and common courtesy, and the lack of both from CC is more disappointing than any of the forum changes.
^^ Agree about communication. The fact that NEITHER the fixes NOR the communication is happening – and I believe that the people who run this ship are pretty savvy about both – makes me think that something else is going on. What it could be, I have no earthly idea, but there’s something happening behind the scenes which is bigger than the website. It’s mystifying. I’ve never seen anything like it.
One explanation would be that they are having a contractual dispute with the programmers that they hired. So nothing is being done until that dispute is resolved.
They could say that. It would be better than two and a half months of silence.

In the past 10 or so minutes, repeated guru meditation fail messages. 4 of them. gret box, bottom left of screen. (Just now, as I write this, happened again: Error 503 XID 2038096947.) A bit earlier, clicked for the next page and was logged out. (Back button and I was logged in.)
