Why can’t I access my saved drafts? Last night I wrote a post but didn’t finish it. I hit “Save Draft” multiple times. Now, it displays on the sidebar that I have 1 draft, but when I click on Drafts, it says I have no drafts. What the heck?? And just to clarify, I didn’t publish the post.
Okay, just logged back on the website. Now the sidebar no longer displays a Drafts option. Guess I have to rewrite my entire post.
@moody208 thanks. I have to watch this and see if i can give a better description of exactly what was what. Or it may not recur. Again, thanks, that was speedy.
Getting logged out today. Have to relog in completely, not even refreshing works.
Also- still getting the random checkboxes. Really concerning when the forum randomly decides to change on its own…

Happens on Chrome, FF, and phone. That screenshot was from FF. Logout is on chrome.
Maybe it would be helpful to the PTB that next time you see it happen, you save the page source (right-mouse -> view page source on FF, then you can save it), and send it it to them.
Ok, well it just happened on Chrome. I have the page source up but it’s well over 1,000 lines long.
I’ll keep it up in case any of TPTB care, but considering they haven’t said anything, I doubt they’re too concerned.
Oh, btw, in case no one cares that I’m getting these random checkboxes, they might care about the fact that I can apparently delete/move the threads???: (I’m not testing to find out)

I only see this in the Community & Forum Issues section, but some of the pinned threads at the top have a little gear icon next to them. When I hover the mouse over it, it says “Dismiss”. If I click Dismiss, the thread disappears from the page. I only tried this once just to see what would happen. I didn’t want the thread to disappear completely! Why am I seeing this icon, why only in this particular forum, and why is it allowing me to delete threads from the page?
Edited to add that I just saw the same gear icon on a pinned thread on the Financial Aid forum. I don’t see it in any of the other forums that I normally visit.

Pats, the same thing has been happening to me for weeks and no one has bothered to acknowledge it. If it’s happening to both of us, it’s happening to others and I’m surprised no one has messed with it yet.
patsmom, the pinned thread is still there but will be listed in chronological order of the latest posting to the thread. At least that’s what I get in the “latest threads” listing.
Oh how funny! I just noticed that little gear icon on thread started by Roger in the financial aid forum. If I click on it, it says “dismiss” .
Does this mean I can delete that thread??
I don’t think so. It’s when I get the check boxes, not the gears, that I have a delete option.
@thumper1, I think it just unpins it so it will be listed chronologically according to the latest post.
