@mhern04 No I took some courses in high school couple of years ago and Pomona is asking for the AP scores that I received for it.
I will contact them as soon as I can though.
They ask for transfer students applying to impacted majors. My son’s transcript should have arrived a week ago, but they have not been recorded yet which is making us nervous. He called admissions today and they did not have any interest in checking the incoming stack. They were rather indifferent and it seems they may not process the incoming transcripts before the Jan 31 deadline. We are debating driving down a second set of them just to make sure they get them.
Mine were barely acknowledged yesterday and I sent them Jan. 6
I sent my transcripts last tuesday, and my application status still says “Needs Documents” after 9 days… Anyone still waiting on updates? I plan on calling them tomorrow morning.
Do you all still have the transcripts in your To-Do list… I sent them on JAN 14… so they were probably, there since January 19… but my status still says need documents… I called CPP admissions but they told me that they have a high load of transcripts coming in… If you guys sent transcripts after 14 & have nothing in To-Do list… there is definitely something to worry about for me…
According to USPS tracking, my son’s transcripts arrived 1/19 and still have not been acknowledged. He attended two other colleges and those transcripts were sent electronically to Pomona, and acknowledged the next day. However, paper ones seem to take a long time.
I Haven’t been requested to send transcripts nor AP scores? I Was provisionally accepted yesterday, transfer major biology.
I believe they only request transcripts prior to decision from transfers applying to impacted programs.
@ontherails I’m in the same boat as you. I was worrying about the possibility of something going wrong with my transcripts because they were not shown as received on bronco direct. I emailed cpp and I asked if it was normal for the transcript process into the bronco direct system to take longer than the 1/31 deadline. I got a response back saying that it can take up to two weeks after the 1/31 deadline for transcripts to be entered into the system. The person also said that as long as the transcripts were post marked by 1/31 we are okay. After getting this response back my worries were put at ease, but I’m still anxious!!
My account has had “needs documents” for weeks but they told me nothing is outstanding so there systems must be very slow to update
I called them a couple weeks ago and then again last week. I have 3 different transcripts. All were sent as soon as I got the request notification. 1 was received on 1/26. I sent additional copies of the other two. They did say the accept e-trasncripts from only a handful of schools. But they will honor the post mark date. As long as you sent it before 1/31 then you’re good. I directly asked 'is it a normal turn around time, having sent them on 1/4 and not being processed till 1/26" she said yes and that I shouldn’t worry. The only thing that makes me worry is that half the time I log in to the portal it will say something like “request for documents failed” then when I check again later it pops back up with the to-do list.
Where does it show up you need to turn in transcripts ?
under my to do list there are only two items listed they are :
Enrollment Confirm. Deposit
&
Admission Decision 2015-16
I got a provisional acceptance on feb 3
@StilesStyles They might not have requested yours. If they did it would show up under the to do list. Congrats to you.
@kcb2004 thank you !
My son’s missing transcript was acknowledged today. We know it arrived on 1/19/16, but wasn’t credited until today 2/8/16. We stopped by the University Friday and they told us they plan to have all the transcripts recorded within two weeks.
Now just the waiting game to see how long before decisions come out for Mechanical Engineering transfers.
My transcript was acknowledged today, and they said they received it on 1/27/16. Status changed from “Needs Documents” to “Ready for Review”. Excited
I received an email saying my transcripts were received and my application status went from “Needs Documents” to “ready for review”. Ive read that decisions don’t change until beginning of March. Thats when they usually send acceptance/rejection letters.
It’s almost March and my official transcripts are still on my to-do list…I’m starting to get really worried.
My transcripts finally cleared today on the portal!
Mine finally were received, Nearly two months after I sent them. That’s crazy! Didn’t get an email or any notification. Checked the portal and my “to-dos” were gone. Then verified they were received via check application status. I’m not impressed with CPP admissions process. I wonder if this is a reflection on how their academics is.
