Its all relative.
It’s been an hour since I checked it first … So maybe 1.5-3 hours?
@akfieldhockey I’m just looking at my 3.7 wishing the A’s were handed out like candy. People with 4.0s worked for that and frankly everyone else with respectable grades.
@juanton1995 hopefully exactly at 4
this is so intense and stressful. Fifteen more minutes!! I don’t even know what to do with myself
@Sandwich94 what other schools did you apply to?
It used to make me frustrated when people told me my 4.0 was basically given to me but then I got over it. Everyone who goes to any college (whether its Harvard or LA City College) EARNS their grades. It’s whatever.
@akfieldhockey I think part of it is just people who are not very smart and like to make broad assumptions. Another part is that community colleges have a notoriously high number of unmotivated students so people who have never taken a weedout cc class assume the top students must also be unmotivated, but are still getting As… so the classes must be easy
When people claim community college is way easier, I love getting to watch them get really awkward when I tell them 3/4 of my professors also teach at CS Fullerton and UCI.
I’ve noticed the ones who make these comments are usually bitter about having loans/a useless major because they didn’t go to a CC first.
I think it mostly comes from people who are feeling insecure about their own accomplishments. Usually it’s someone with a less-than-perfect GPA who has to justify it by putting down other people who are more successful than them.
Lol @UniversalSnip i like your photo!
@elliekate: UCB, UCI, UCR, and SJSU. The latter two accepted me already.
This is just so unremarkable of a way to know how my life will go…I feel like I should just not look and go do something right now that I won’t put on my application, but would have been something wonderful. Just for me…
yea my professor teachers at UCI and i took his class at CC and was the world’s easiest A.
9 minutes!!!
I took my Calculus course with an instructor who used to teach at UCB, he said the materials and the exams were basically the same. The difference is that while at community college, you have to fight against the tests and your laziness, at the UCs you also have to fight against each other due to the grade curve.
So to some extend, it’s easier to earn a good grade at a community college than at a UC. I have no idea about private schools though.
Yeah I was going to a bay area CC for a year and half my lecturers also taught at Berkeley. LOL. As like candy…?
Damn everybody from the CCs went hard really quick lol represent!!!
and 7 more minutes… then I have to get ready for work! GOOD LUCK!!!
Hey @UniversalSnip which CC did you go to
@ShuttlepilotND Are you saying that they come out right at 4?
