I really wanted to attend UCSB because I love the location and UCLA was a total shot in the dark, so I was really surprised to get rejected to UCSB and accepted to UCLA. Regardless, I am extremely thankful for UCLA.

I suppose my situation is understandable considering the competitiveness of the major. I have completed all the Major Reqs and have a couple hundred hours put into EC’s, but I am missing a few general eds that were recommended for me to take if time allowed which it hasn’t. I’ve been doing major prep courses since I began attending my community college, so for about 3 years. That’s probably what got me wait listed, but I’m not sure. Can I contact the school to see why I got wait listed? I have the option to add additional information if I accept the wait list. I have a few ideas, but was wondering what you guys think I should write. I do plan on taking some general ed courses during the summer if that counts for anything. I’m still waiting on UCI, and UCB before I figure out what I’m going to do.

Does anyone know how I can contact UCLA to see what my final GPA/stats were when they decided to reject me?

I applied to UCs not sure which courses would be factored into my GPA because I came from a CSU and CC combined.

I wanna get an idea of what my GPA would be when other UCs are deciding my admission/rejection. lol
