<p>Hey all you CS guys! I got in as well… its not my first choice, but im happy to have been accepted in such a highly ranked CS institution along the way. Im definitely keeping UIUC in mind, but the rest shall be decided next month. </p>

<p>Admitted :slight_smile: i’ll just say, my academics were great, ecs not so much … everyone had to check the application status part on the website, right? Why didn’t they send you an email?</p>

<p>u of I severely lacks that kind of stuff…congratulating people and convincing them to go to u of I. I didn’t need to be convinced but a lot of people decide between other schools too. you’ll get a litle packet in the mail in a couple of weeks but I applied to purdue and they constantly send stuff through the mail and email. Im not going to purdue but they’re an example of what u of I should be doing</p>

<p>I’m really shocked since I got accepted to Electrical Engineering with SAT and TOEFL 1950 and 98; My TOEFL is below the engineering requirement… anyway, good job everyone!</p>

<p>yea u have a shot. Probably expect Division of General Studies though engineering is very hard to get into.</p>
