UW GPA: 3.854 (only classes I had less than an A in were Spanish, Visual Arts, one sem of Calc, couple of A-s in English, and Physics Mechanics)

APs: 11 (APUSH, WHAP, Calc (ab and bc), Physics C: mech and e and m, Lit and Lang, Comp Sci, Stats, and Psych) 5s on all except for APUSH and CS (4s on both) taking e and m, bc, psych, stats, and lang this year.
ECs: 2 internships (one marketing, one for a machine learning company as a cs engineer)
Co-President of Model UN Team (helped create it as a sophomore), Policy Lieutenant of best Speech and Debate team in Cali (2nd year on the team), Officer of a nationally renowned lobbying advocacy organization (we lobby to senators in DC on bills that stop human trafficking and bills that reform the criminal justice system). Vice-president of guitar club as a sophomore, then I quit (self-taught and a composer), two years as a programmer in robotics until I quit. Created a startup that is now sponsored by Microsoft and has more than 200 users (released a few months ago). Attend a bunch of hackathons, got third place at a hackathon meant for business professionals creating a paperless solution for a nonprofit that helps migrant workers find jobs (should be released to the public soon), one $150 award from Wolfram Alpha for creating a Canny Edge Detector as a sophomore. Over 114 service hours as a FIRST coach, volunteering at the library, and lobbying (didnt put my hours in my app if I remember correctly).
Awards: Best delegation at SCVMUN (2016), NMSF, AP scholar with distinction, third place at Opportunity Hacks, Best Use of Wolfram Alpha at HSHacks II ($150), Research award at SCVMUN 2015, and principal’s honor roll every semester (for having a gpa of 4 or above weighted), perhaps a couple more but my mind is blanking right now.
Congrats to all who got in! Unsure if I will be attending just yet, but it’s my first choice out of school’s I have heard back from.
