Then fill out the necessary fields and see if you can obtain a PID number.

I just hope it’s before next week. I took time off to come visit Chapel Hill and at housing and what not. Of course, if I don’t get in then I’ll have some decisions to make.

@Thurston12 - I just tried that link, and put in my info, and not only did it work and say “Hi Cheeky4409” (obviously it said my actual first name) but it also said that I had two PID numbers and a message popped up saying to contact the PID Administration immediately to straighten it out. I don’t think this means anything, but does it work for anyone else??

Same here. I have my first name and two PIDs.

Hmm, interesting. We might just be in the system because we’re applicants and have myUNC accounts - idk. Right now I can’t log onto myUNC because the traffic is too heavy, I’m assuming. I just want to know…enough of this waiting game.

But if u log onto the system and click “review test scores” there should be a Personal ID number which is one of the 2 PIDs that were given

I got the same thing. I don’t really think it means anything, though.

Right, which makes sense that everyone here would be able to find themselves on that PID website. Is there anyone on here who tries that link and only gets one PID number to come up?

Then why do we have an additional PID?

That’s what I’m wondering about. Maybe it’s a good sign…or maybe we just all have two. And that’s why I asked if anyone who logs into the PID system only sees one PID number instead of two.

Also, is anyone here unable to log into their myUNC page? My computer can’t connect to the server.

I only have one PID number too…

yeah i can’t log on to myunc either… hopefully this means something is happening… in which we might find out later day…

I only have one PID, I can’t log on to MyUNC at the moment to see if it’s the same one or not.

I’m usually not one to speculate, but when I try to log onto myUNC, my computer fails to make a ‘secure connection’ with the site. Either students are registering for class, etc., or maybe they’re updating the site??

I just got redirected to a ‘Sun Java Access Manager’ page for login, but it doesn’t work. Anyone else? This is so bizarre.

Yeah that’s what i’m hoping… that they are updating the site… I usually don’t jump to conclusions but I’m starting to get the feeling we might actually find out this evening…

I finally got through to MyUNC (I’m guessing there is just high traffic on this page today) and confirmed that my one PID I found when looking it up through that link is the same as the one found under the Test Scores section.

Cheeky, u are accepted by Cornell aren’t you? I feel safe as you have two PIDs too… I’m so anxious!!!

Alright, I was just able to log onto myUNC. No visible change though. It still says that my application is complete but a decision is not yet available. Perhaps we shall hear tonight – it IS Thursdays afterall lol.

yeah i got through also haha… nevermind, i was getting all excited for nothing… oh cheeky you got into cornell?? you have nothing to worry about… I’m in my hardest class right now but can’t focus on anything except finding out…
