Finally…I got the e-mail

My daughter got her decision and was deferred. Good luck to you all.

So the decisions are being released right now?

Also are RD decisions being released? And do you have to check on Wolverine access or do they email them as well? thanks.

She got her email today (never got the get-ready email). She applied EA. I’m sure the RD’s are not getting released until the spring.

RD decisions will not be announced until spring. It seems EA decisions are being released starting today by email, not Wolverine Access.

Hi AnotherMom, is your daughter you OOS?, my son is and also did not get that email earlier in the week… have a feeling he will be deferred also if not denied. He is at school and I can’t look at his account… ugh…

I don’t think that not receiving the “get ready” email is an indication of rejection or deferral.

OMGMIT, I hope your right… Michigan and Boston College are my son’s number 1 choices … I am not too optimistic with Michigan being an OOS… we will see…
Thanks…

GoGiants - she is OOS and also a Giants fan.

Well, ,I like her then and hope she gets in:) My son a JETS fan… go figure…
Are you surprised? did you think it was a reach school for her?

Wait someone got deferred?
Are decisions being released?
Is WA down?

Did she get the decision email? What was the decision letter? Could you copy paste it here?

My son just got the “get ready for our email” email. I know people started posting that they got these on Monday, but his just arrived today. It was sent this AM, so there are DEFINITELY going to be waves through this process.

To another mom…do you mean that your daughter got an email today from U of M and got deferred?

Great questions @aniruddhc. WA is still online and I am nervous as I was one of the first ones to receive the “get ready” email and this may be indicating that I am on the first wave.

@anothermom08 — Admission decisions are being released today?

It was an email and she was deferred with a decision to Mid April. The only reason I’m posting this here is because we’ve been tracking this thread ourselves and finding some comfort in the community of it. She got the email at school on her school account – so much for their sensitivity argument. I’m sure she would not want me to post it here. It was from the email address they said it would come from with the same subject line they said to expect.

Wow … that is interesting …we should see more postings on this board soon just to confirm what anothermom08 is saying … thanks to her for posting this

anothermom: Hang in there! I know the news is disappointing, but many accepted students choose to go elsewhere and that opens up spaces for deferred students. Also, she is just being put into the RD pile so she still has a chance, but I know the waiting seems interminable.
