Oh ok I meant when did they receive all the required materials from you? Sorry for asking that many questions haha @Prospects80

@Prospects80 Wow, congratulations! Man, I wish I were you, hahaha!

Has anyone been notified of the decisions lately? I was told my application was actually marked as complete on Feb. 21st, so I think should receive my decision within maybe two weeks. UGH I am so anxious and yet sad about the possible upcoming rejection T.T Michigan is just such an incredible university.

@Otemachi
I think that most fall term transfer applicants will hear by the end of April. I’d consider myself lucky if I received good news before then.

@EdifiedLiterate According to the admissions website though, we will be notified by early April.

@Otemachi
Can you provide the link for that information?

I saw what I previously mentioned at this UMich admissions tweet: https://twitter.com/UMichAdmissions/status/436650411118698496

Hoping for early decisions, though.

@EdifiedLiterate I vaguely remember reading it somewhere, but I was not able to find it. Maybe I remembered it wrong, and sorry for causing any confusions. I do remember that one of the admission representatives said to me I would hear back anytime between now and early April. And if you check U-M admissions’ Facebook page where one applicant asked about the release of transfer decisions, the representative commented that all transfer decisions will be available by early April. Anyways, best of luck to you. As a sophomore transfer, my chance of admittance is rather slim.

Decision: Accepted!! (LSA)

GPA: 3.75
Major: Undeclared
Standing: Incoming junior

@Otemachi
I may have read the tweet incorrectly. Not sure, though. It says, “Most fall term transfer applicants will hear by the end of April,” but I’m not sure if that means that applicants will be hearing back till then or if most decisions will be mailed out at the end of April…

By the way, does anyone know if a Common App Midterm Report with good grades will help strengthen the application at this point?

I think I got accepted?

I received and email from one of the Kinesiology advisors congratulating me on being accepted for winter 2014. But there are a few problems with that. First of all I applied for fall 2014 so that’s confusing. Secondly I haven’t received an admissions decision via email or wolverine access. My speculation is that I have been accepted but the Kines email beat the admissions email and I have to go specifically into Kines after the fall semester.

Any thoughts on this weird situation?

I got accepted this morning by 9 o’clock on the way to class. I was so surprised and so happy!!!
Hope everyone good luck!

My quick Stats:
College GPA: 4.0 (From Penn State)
Credits: 12(AP) +14(First Semester) + 17(Second Semester)
Standing: Incoming Sophomore
Application Submitted: Feb 1st (Marked as complete Feb. 7th)

Good Luck Everyone!!!

Congrats to everyone accepted

Ayyyy, congratulations everyone! I’m sure you all worked hard for this moment. And I was under the impression all decisions would be released by mid-April, according to the admissions office when I called, but well, they’ll come when they come, I guess.

@Otemachi Hey, don’t be so pessimistic! You’ve got a fighting chance as long as you applied.

@OttawacountyAl I think it is best to call either the admissions office or the School of Kinesiology to clarify.

@Maziodyne Yeah it turns out it was a typo problem on the fall 2014 vs winter 2014 and they let me know early for a prompt decision. Never heard of that before but okay I’ll take it.

Congrats to everyone as well. Never give up, I was rejected last year.

My application was marked complete this morning. Maybe engineering is finally starting to do transfer students? Curious if any other engineering students finally got marked as complete, I had called them early on and they said they would begin marking them complete later.

I hope it’s not just limited to engineering transfers and they start picking up the pace with transfers in general, I’m getting kind of antsy with the wait. I have to begin scheduling next year’s classes in the eventuality that I get rejected, which is highly likely because of my terrible GPA, lol.

NGHHHHH GUYS THE DREAM IS ALIVE

Just was accepted this morning! I’m so psyched, holy actual cheese nuggets.

@Maziodyne how do you get notified of your decision?

@MDog795 I had checked my email first and they’d sent me an email. But the view decision link on WA was available at the same time, so I wouldn’t worry about checking one more frequently over the other!

@Maziodyne you wouldn’t happen to be engineering, would you?
