@ShuttlepilotND I know that nervous feeling too Submitted 1/15, my transcript submitted 2/17, CoE email 3/5. I’m international so I guess that’s why it’s taking a while. Hopefully there’s good news for all of us still waiting!
@boilerup4purdue I called to inquire and they told me that it can take 2-4 weeks after the deposit is paid. Your situation seems to be an exception, unless the person I talked to gave me incorrect information. It has been over a month for me so I recently called again and they put me on hold for some time to investigate, and said they were super busy this time of year so it may take a while longer than usual. It’s a bit frustrating because I have no idea how many credits will transfer. I’m attending regardless, but this last bit of info will help to relieve any remaining anxiety.
@NCXfer congrats that amazing!! You must be so excited! Hopefully I hear back soon this waiting game is driving me crazy. Did you get an email or did you check WA?
@mganxx I was at work actually! So I checked my email not expecting anything because it was on a Sunday, but then I checked WA and it appeared there also.
So uhh currently my financial aid award is $0? Does that happen for everyone at first? They have my CSS and Fafsa
Can anyone answer my question…?
rejected lsa
suggest that you go to MSU… would be easier to transfer to umich
still waiting… my transcript was marked to be received on 2/23… my application is not yet marked as complete… however i sent an email and was told that my application is complete… will i be fine if i have still not heard from lsa? bad sign of being rejected? finger crossed.
@NCXfer You will receive your financial aid summary notification by email, and after you pay the enrollment deposit I think. It took a couple of weeks to receive my financial aid offer.
And I finally received my credit evaluation! All is well.
Disappointed … Denied admission this fall…(found out a couple of weeks ago but just getting around to post this.)I am an in state Freshman though, but wanted to transfer as a sophomore. Holding on to a 4.0 this semester and had a 4.0 last semester with some challenging classes. . Taking 2 spring summer classes, so along with my 12 HS AP credits should have about 50 total -if they take everything. (30 ACT and originally wait listed) I can push my app to winter… But would hate to be denied again… What do u think my chances are? Do they admit many students then? Thanks for any insight!
I am really worried if there is a “rej/wl” day like 3/26 for freshman on which a batch of transfer applicants are being denied… It really upsets me that a large portion of those notified seem to be accepted… and considering that there are few posts for transfer…
@grape12 I think you have a very good chance of being accepted in the Winter term. It seems the issue was your number of credits and not your grades. Just make sure all of the classes you will be taking in the summer and fall will transfer. I understand it sucks you did get in right now, but 5 or 6 months from now I have a really good feeling you will be a Wolverine. Good luck!
@clarathegreat I know i’m starting to think the same thing. It is freaking me out because they said we would hear at LATEST the beginning of April… and April is here and I still haven’t heard a thing.
@klaus1216 thanks so much… I know they really like to see more credits and more of a junior status, but some sophomores do get in. Triple checked all of the classes… they all transfer. Thanks for the response!
admitted to LSA! I believed they released a batch this night. Intl transfer, toefl109, college gpa 91.5/100, sat2050, and will have 67 credits (assuming they’re all transferable) by this semester.
@clarathegreat That’s awesome! Congrats on being a wolverine! Hopefully I can say the same thing soon!
Hey guys. Is it weird that UMich changed my transfer application of CoE to LSA?
@TrainH That is strange. You should call them on Monday just to make sure nothing everything is fine.
Make sure that everything is fine*
