I just checked mine and it works fine

3.3-.5 hs gpa

Great internship for attorney in Dallas.
I am thinking of applying to the transfer housing program (Global Scholars program). Has anyone heard anything about this program that could shed some light on it for me?
@transferTCS0504 Congrats!! Can I ask when did you send all of materials?
I just got accepted overnight (weird, I know). I was the one with the OBSCENELY long post a few pages back, but to sum up my stats:
-LSA - Undeclared
-HS GPA: 4.0
-AP/Honors track
-Leadership positions in various clubs & NHS member
-I took a break this year so I have no college stats. Instead, I’ve been bouncing back from medical concerns that took me out from my first semester & working various job opportunities
-Previously accepted as an incoming freshman
-Legacy
I haven’t received the official welcome email yet, but my decision was updated on WA.
Best of luck to everyone still waiting! I hope you all hear back soon & it’s something positive
@kcannon thats awesome! congrats! If you don’t mind me asking, when did you apply? I sent everything in on the 29th and I have yet to hear back. It’s stressing me out lol
Thanks @mganxx ! I sent in my application on January 20th, but it wasn’t marked complete until February 3rd. So hopefully you hear back sometime soon!
Congrats!! My application was completed Jan 31 but I am still waiting… I hope I can get a decision.
I sent in the application on the 29th but not everything was marked as complete until February 3rd.
I almost freaked out when I saw an email from CoE in my inbox about credit evaluation. They are asking for very specific information about the programming C++ class I took and the MATLAB class I’m taking. Does anyone have any experience with this?
@ShuttlepilotND I had to do the same thing for my C++ course. I sent in a detailed class syllabus which included a class synopsis and assignment schedule. Then I actually typed up a document listing each assignment’s prompt, which was a pain, but if it saves me from having to take another course then it’s well worth it.
Thanks @timrichards ! I guess I’ll have to do the same. Seeing as it’s a requirement, I’m afraid that maybe it won’t transfer over and I won’t fulfill that requirement and ultimately be rejected. Did you have to do that for this year or a previous application year?
@ShuttlepilotND I received that too a few days after I submitted my app. It was for the ENGR 101 prerequisite. In my case, they asked for a course I took about C language. But since I took another course about C++, I sent them course information for both of the courses. In the end, both courses combined will satisfy the prerequisite. Note that your app is only marked complete after they have evaluated the information you sent them. It takes a few days for it to be processed. Although I sent them the info three weeks ago, my app was marked complete just last week.
Where do I check to see if my application is marked as complete?
I have nothing under required materials, not sure if they received my transcripts.
@DeepThots I think you have to call them to confirm your app is marked as complete. In the past, the Required Materials stated what they have already received. However, now,= it’s for material they still need from you. The best course of action for you would to be call them and just make sure everything is set.
Hopefully those of you still waiting will hear back really soon! Also as a heads up, keep checking WA for updates. I finally got the official acceptance email this afternoon a little after 3, but when I woke up this morning at 6, my decision had already been updated on WA, so don’t necessarily wait for the acceptance email.
@TVNerd , Thanks for your help! How did you find out that both would fulfill the requirement when the email states that we can’t even ask about the results of the evaluation, did you find out once you were admitted? Thanks again!
What does WA say when we got admitted/rejected? Will it just say on the home page?
@ShuttlepilotND If only I found out once I was admitted haha. When I called them to confirm everything was complete, they transferred me over to the credit eval office. I spoke with the person that evaluates the courses and she told me that both courses combined would count for the ENGR 101 prereq. I think what they meant by they “can’t tell us anything about the eval” is geared towards how it factors into your admissions decision. But whether it counts for credit or not, they seem to be able to share with us.
@morepf on WA, check under “Application Status”, then there’ll be the options of “View Credentials” & “View Application Data”. If you are accepted, a third option will appear, “View Decision”. If you’re rejected, the view decision option never appears on WA.
@ShuttlepilotND I did the credit eval for this year. Still anxiously waiting to hear back.
