<p>Here I am. Huntsman ED-ers seem to be few and far between. There’s like 200 of us. If it makes you feel better, Inge (the director of the program) told me they usually take 30-35 people early. 100 at least will be knocked out for not having enough international experience, so if you do, the odds are really pretty good! But I feel you. Totally nerve racking. No clue how to occupy myself for the next week. </p>
<p>I will have no problem occupying myself. Our IB directors moved the Extended Essay deadline up to a week and a half from now and I was already behind. Wish me luck writing a 4,000 word research paper while keeping up with the 3-4 hours of homework that many of you are familiar with </p>

<p>Luckily I’m going to New York this weekend which will be a pleasant distraction from worrying (hopefully). On the train I’ll be passing through/stopping in Philadelphia; however, which will be slightly nerve-wracking.</p>

<p>@PhysicsisPhun15 Dude… I feel you. For some reason my IB coordinator this year made us finish our EE LAST MONTH. It was hell. And it isn’t even supposed to be turned in officially until January. But he wanted us to not have to “worry about it.” My TOK essay thankfully is due after winter break though. And I’m currently doing my history IA which I am so behind on. I don’t understand my teachers. The official time for the history IA is like March. My class and I are all writing college essays. Why do they assign it now, when they could just as easily switch the curriculum placement to have the IA in February and the unit in February to December… I’ll never understand.</p>
<p>@PhysicsisPhun15 What are you doing your EE on? I did mine on mathematics. Specifically the number theory involved with RSA public key cryptography.</p>
<p>You guys are lucky you have some kind of flexibility with your curriculum scheduling. December is the crunch time of the academic year here in Pakistan. So much going on right now that it’s overwhelming.
Also, any prospective Econ (or other social sciences) majors here?</p>
