Do schools actually consider sexuality when deciding admissions? That’s kind of odd. And a quota?

@pianogeek What’s your zodiac sign?

@DL43516 probably, they can’t have huge discrepancies between the number of males and females they admit.

@idontcarewh did you get in ED?

@cstbzksfmgv I’m a Leo!

so freaked out right now! 10 out of 13 people in my school got into harvard, which is insane. but we’ll all pull through together i’m sure

@idontcarewh unhooked?

Wow 10/13 people from the same school in at Harvard? What high school? I’ve never heard such a high number. Congrats to them though.

It seems that the adcom this year wasn’t so impressed with our class…usually they talk about how the applicants were the “best they’ve ever seen” and what not, but they don’t seem to be complimenting us too much…does this mean more rejections this year? D:

@authornim jesus 10/13?

@Jay102 it’s a small private school in nyc - i won’t say the name just because it’s so small and many people at my school don’t want specifics to be disclosed until after regulars come in, and i want to respect that. but indeed, congrats to them! despite all the stress floating around right now i’ll always happy for those who get in to the school of their choice. =D>

yeah it’s crazy! i’m super happy for them, but i’m also getting quite stressed out from that number.

Many of the kids who attend Boston Latin are also accepted to Harvard every year

I have three papers to write, a physics test to study for, finals in three days, and no motivation to do anything! Senioritis is real Anyone else in the same position?

Am I the only one who did not receive a financial aid confirmation or missing documents email? I am kind of worried. I can’t go to Upenn without financial aid.

I have also been deferred by MIT and am also taking it as a sign that I was meant for Penn. Looks like everyone an their mother got deferred by MIT this year lol. I haven’t seen as many rejections as deferrals.
Getting into Penn means the world to me, but worst case scenario, there’s grad school!

I have a feeling at 5:00 pm tomorrow, the Penn portal will crash and we’ll all freak out because we will interpret it as a sign that we have all been rejected. lol. I’m more excited than nervous about tomorrow because I’m happy with every other regular decision school I will apply to. Penn is my top choice but I don’t think it’s healthy to get hung up on only one school. Especially if you get rejected.

One of my friends just got a notif that he got in. Anyone else who got it?

@Ghost95 If he did not get a likely letter, the email that he got is most likely not a notification that he got in haha. Ask him to copy and paste this email.

yes @Ghost95 I would like to see this as well
