[ *] Why you think you were waitlisted/rejected: Perish the thought
[ *] Where else were you accepted: Washington and Lee University

In the above post, Mr. Randolph forgot to meant his chairmanship of the “WASPs for Cantor” organization, and his leading role in “Fountainhead: The Play”.

Speaking of Washington and Lee U., I found this actual post from a parent of a female W&L student over on their thread:

"While she is Southern, Episcopalian, and the product of a very selective private school education; she does not drink every night, wear her Barbour coat every day, nor wear her pearls to class!

Washington and Lee is not for everyone, nor should it intend to be. It is a fine, venerable, highly selective Southern liberal arts college with great history and tradition. Some may abhor it’s perceived lack of diversity; we celebrate it!"

It is reportedly a place where some students call the minority students “Johnsons” after the Johnson scholarships that the university offers.

Also, it is worth noting that the southern Virginia private school system was partly created as a result of state-sponsored massive resistance against desegregation in the 1950s and 1960s. Some public school systems actually closed down for a period of time, and the state provided vouchers to students who could afford the newly created whites-only private schools, until they were overturned in court.

I’ve definitely posted about massive resistance on this forum before. Google Many people are not aware of it. Your post was super funny by the way.

Okay Charlieschm I am now reading this thread soley to see if you and UVAorBust get into UVA: Very funny.

Same template posted by UVAorBust, except you don’t have to remove the spaces! (Thanks to halloimzack for the tip about )
